Claims (13)
- 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법으로서,상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자에 화소 데이터 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자에 기준 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자의 동작을 변경하기 위해 프레임 시간 동안 상기 화소 데이터 신호를 디케이(decay)하는 단계;상기 화소 데이터 신호와 상기 기준 신호 중 적어도 하나가 변화됨에 따라 상기 화소 데이터 신호와 상기 기준 신호를 비교하는 단계; 및상기 비교 단계의 결과에 따라 상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자를 동작시키는 단계를 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기준 신호의 제공 단계는 변화하는 기준 신호를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기준 신호의 제공 단계는 점차 증가하는 기준 신호를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법.

- 공간 광 변조기의 소자로서,적어도 두 개의 어드레스 전극;상기 적어도 두 개의 어드레스 전극 위에 매달린 편향 가능한 미러 소자;화상 데이터 신호를 나타내는 전하를 저장하기 위한 커패시터;기준 전압 입력;상기 화상 데이터 신호와 상기 기준 전압을 수신하는 비교기 - 상기 비교기는 상기 기준 전압 입력을 상기 화상 데이터 신호와 비교하고, 상기 적어도 두 개의 어드레스 전극에 어드레스 전압들을 제공하여 상기 편향 가능한 미러 소자가 편향되게 함 -; 및상기 편향되는 시간을 결정하기 위해 디스플레이 시간 동안 상기 저장된 전하를 변경하기 위한 디케이 회로를 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 비교기의 출력의 변화를 검출하는 에지 검출기를 더 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 에지 검출기가 상기 비교기의 출력의 변화를 검출할 때 전체 리세트 신호를 인에이블하기 위한 스위치를 더 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 에지 검출기가 상기 비교기의 출력의 변화를 검출할 때 리세트 신호를 출력하기 위한 리세트 생성기를 더 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자.
- 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법으로서,상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자에 화소 데이터 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자에 기준 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 화소 데이터 신호와 상기 기준 신호 중 적어도 하나가 변화됨에 따라 적어도 한 프레임 시간 동안 상기 화소 데이터 신호와 상기 기준 신호를 비교하는 단계;이미지를 형성하기 위해 상기 비교 단계의 결과에 따라 상기 공간 광 변조기의 상기 소자를 동작시키는 단계; 및상기 동작시키는 단계에 의해 형성된 상기 이미지의 내에서 이미지 휘도 및 이미지 콘트라스트로 구성되는 그룹 중 선택된 적어도 하나의 이미지 파라미터를 변경하기 위해 적어도 한 프레임 시간 후에 상기 기준 신호를 변경하는 단계를 포함하는 공간 광 변조기의 소자의 동작 방법.
