Abstract

PURPOSE: A frequency variable type damper varies the position of a mass to fit a correct tuning frequency, thereby easily conforming the setting of a damper for adapting to a vehicle developing. CONSTITUTION: A frequency variable type damper comprises a bracket(3), an elastic member(5), an auxiliary plate(7), a connecting bar(9), a mass(15) and a key(21). The position of the mass(15) is varied according to the height of effective frequency, thereby covering a wide range of frequency band. Thus, the setting of a damper for adapting to an initial vehicle developing is easily confirmed. Further, the cost for the setting is reduced.
