Abstract

PURPOSE: A cooling machine is provided to conveniently adjust the performance of a filter and a used pressure by using a drum filter and a trochoid pump. CONSTITUTION: A cooling machine(30) consists of: a drum filter unit(32), an air supply line(34) and a coolant supply line(36). The drum filter unit filters chips from a coolant(42) re-circulated through a hose(40) of a cooling tank(38). The drum filter unit contains: an inlet port(44) flowing the coolant from the hose; a housing(50) having an exhaust port(48) for discharging chips to a chip box(46); plural screen drums(54) cleaning a screen with the injection of air while arranged in the housing in parallel; and a transferring belt(56) transferring the chips around the screen drum. The air supply line comprises: an air injection hole(62) each arranged in a hollow portion of the screen drum; a control valve(64) variably controlling the opening of the air supply line; a cut-off valve(66) intercepting the flow of air; and an air compressor(68) in the air line. The coolant supply line supplies the coolant to a processing machine from the cooling tank. The coolant supply line comprises a line filter(70) in a pipe line connected to the cooling tank and a trochoid type supply pump(72) pumping the coolant to the processing machine from the line filter.
