Abstract

PURPOSE: A simple car towing device uses a simple tool to tow a car getting out of a driving road without a tow car, therefor reduces cost and time to rescue the car. CONSTITUTION: Car towing device comprises connecting pieces and fixing pieces. The connecting pieces comprise holes to be installed to driving wheel and iron rods where a rope is tied. The fixing pieces connects two connecting pieces and comprise a bolt piece and a nut piece so as to be used to various kinds of cars. Car towing devices are installed to driving wheels of a car. The devices are connected to ropes fixed to a fixed point at an appropriate place. As changing a gearshift to a driving mode, ropes are wound around the devices as wheels rotate. The car is moved to a normal driving course by the traction power of ropes.

[그림 4]는 자동차를 정면으로 견인하고자 할 때 장치를 설치한 모습으로 전륜 구동형 승용차를 예로 든 경우이다. 자동차의 기어를 전진방향으로 넣으면 바퀴가 회전하고 그에 따라 밧줄이 견인장치에 감기면서 자동차는 앞으로 나가게 된다. 이때 버팀목은 안전한 지대에 설치하면 된다. 후진 견인을 할 때는 버팀목을 뒷면에 설치하고 후진기어를 넣으면 된다.[Figure 4] shows an example of the installation of a front-wheel drive passenger car when the vehicle is towed to the front.
