Claims (11)
- 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치에 있어서,상기 광 파이버는 소정의 제1 및 제2 편광축을 가지며 10-6또는 그보다 큰 고유한 파이버 복굴절율을 가진 편광-유지 파이버인 것을 특징으로 하는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고유한 파이버 복굴절율은 10-5또는 그보다 큰, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고유한 파이버 복굴절율은 10-3또는 그보다 작은, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 편광-유지 파이버에 연결되는 PMD 지연 장치를 더 포함하는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 PMD 지연 장치는 상기 편광 유지 파이버의 일부를 포함하는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 처프된 브래그 격자는 단열적인 변동 격자 세기를 나타내도록 아포다이즈되는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 파이버는 제1 및 제2 길이의 편광-유지 파이버를 포함하고, 상기 제1길이의 상기 제1편광 축이 실질적으로 상기 제2길이의 상기 제2편광 축과 상기 제1 및 제2 길이들 사이의 연결에서 평행하도록 배치되는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 처프된 브래그 격자에 방사를 지향시키도록, 상기 처프된 브래그 격자로부터 방사를 수신하도록 적응된 방향 전달 장치를 더 포함하는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 방향 전달 장치는 서큘레이터인, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 광 파이버 전송 경로에 의해 송신기에 연결되는 수신기와 상기 송신기를 더 포함하며, 상기 방향 전달 장치는 상기 전송 경로에 배치되는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 송신기로부터 상기 수신기에 수신된 상기 방사는 색채 분산을 가지며, 상기 처프된 브래그 격자는 상기 색채 분산을 실질적으로 보상하도록 선택되는, 소정 길이의 광 파이버와 파이버내에 처프된 브래그 격자를 포함하는 장치.
