Abstract

PURPOSE: A device for protecting children is provided to prevent the suffocation of children by automatically opening and closing a window when an engine is idly rotated, and an air conditioner or a heater is operated without changing the amount of wind velocity for a regular time in the state which a child is remained in the vehicle alone. CONSTITUTION: A protecting device of children comprises of an RPM sensor(10), a sensor for detecting a wind velocity(20), a sensor of far-infrared rays(30), and an electronic control unit(40). The electronic control unit(40) ventilates the indoor of vehicle by driving a motor for opening and closing a window(1) when an engine is idly rotated, a passenger is existed inside the vehicle, and the wind of an air conditioner or a heater is flowed into the vehicle without changing the amount of window velocity continuously.
