Claims (4)
- 입사된 광신호를 단일모드로 광도파로에 결합시키는 입력단 단일모드 광도파로;상기 광신호를 상기 입력단 단일모드 광도파로에서 다중모드 광도파로로 결합시키기 위한 입력단 테퍼드(tapered) 광도파로;고차의 광도파모드를 도파시킬 수 있는 상기 다중모드 광도파로;상기 광신호를 상기 다중모드 광도파로에서 출력단 단일모드 광도파로로 결합시키기 위한 출력단 테퍼드 광도파로;상기 다중모드 광도파로에서 여기된 상기 고차의 광도파모드를 필터링하여 출력하는 출력단 단일모드 광도파로; 및상기 다중모드 광도파로에 입사된 상기 광신호의 일부를 상기 고차의 광도파모드로 결합시키기 위하여 상기 다중모드 광도파로에 열을 제공하되, 상기 다중모드 광도파로와 소정의 경사각을 이루도록 제공되는 열제공수단을 포함하는 집적광학형 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다중모드 광도파로와 상기 열제공수단이 이루는 상기 경사각을 조절하여 출력되는 상기 광신호의 광감쇄 특성을 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 열제공수단이 열선인 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 광신호가 광섬유 또는 광도파로부터 입사되는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 가변 광감쇄기.
