Claims (6)
- 플라이 높이를 탐지하기 위한 회로에 있어서,헤드에 의해 판독되고 디스크 상에 기록된 천이 신호(transition signal)를 출력하기 위한 회로;상기 천이 신호로부터 결정된 PW50 신호에 기초하여 상기 디스크로부터 상기 헤드의 플라이 높이(fly height)를 측정하기 위한 회로; 및상기 플라이 높이에 기초하여 임계 높이에 도달하였는지의 여부를 결정하기 위한 회로를 포함하는 플라이 높이 탐지 회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 PW50 신호는 상기 천이 신호의 면적에 대응하는 플라이 높이 탐지 회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 PW50 신호는 상기 천이 신호의 피크 높이에 대응하는플라이 높이 탐지 회로.
- 플라이 높이를 탐지하기 위한 방법에 있어서,헤드에 의해 판독되고 디스크 상에 기록된 천이 신호를 출력하는 단계;상기 천이 신호로부터 결정된 PW50 신호에 기초하여 상기 디스크로부터 상기헤드의 플라이 높이를 측정하는 단계; 및상기 플라이 높이에 기초하여 임계 높이에 도달하였는지의 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 플라이 높이 탐지 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 PW50 신호는 상기 천이 신호의 면적에 대응하는 플라이 높이 탐지 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 PW50 신호는 상기 천이 신호의 피크 높이에 대응하는 플라이 높이 탐지 방법.
