Abstract

본 발명은 원격 화상 정보 모터 장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 전화선을 통한 비대칭 고속 데이터 모뎀을 이용하여 원격지의 상황을 화상으로 감지하는 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 목적을 위하여 원격지에 설치되어 상황이 모니터링된 화상 데이터를 송신하는 복수개의 원격지 장치; 원격지의 상태 정보에 따라 상기 복수개의 원격지 장치들을 선별적으로 선택하고 그로부터 전송되는 화상 데이터를 수신하여 화면에 디스플레이하는 집중국 장치를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 원격지에서 센서가 이상 상태를 감지하여 그 상태 정보를 상태 감시 제어 장치로 전송하게 되면 운용자가 원격지의 상황을 영상 화면으로 확인하고 적절한 조취를 취할 수 있다.

Description

원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치
본 발명은 원격 화상 정보 모터 장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 전화선을 통한 비대칭 고속 데이터 모뎀을 이용하여 원격지의 상황을 화상으로 감지하는 장치에 관한 것이다.
도 1은 종래의 원격 관리 장치의 구성을 보이는 블록도이며, 원격지의 주변 상황을 감지하는 센서들(111,121), 센서들(111,121)이 감지한 원격지 상태 정보를 처리하는 상태 감시 장치(112,122), 상태 감시 장치(112,122)에서의 데이터를 전화선(115,125)으로 송수신하는 다이얼 엎 자국 모뎀(113,123)이 포함된 가입자 장치 #1 .....#n, 가입자 장치 #1 .....#n에서의 데이터를 전화선(115,125)으로 송수신하는 다이얼 엎 모국 모뎀(118,128), 다이얼 엎 모국 모뎀(118,128)으로부터 수신된 상태 정보를 처리하는 상태 감시 제어 장치(130)로 구성된다. 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 상태 감시 장치(112,122)는 원격지에 설치되어 있는 센서(111,121)에 의해 이상 상태를 수신하면 다이얼 엎 자국 모뎀(113,123) 및 다이얼 엎 모국 모뎀(118,128)을 통해 상태 감시 제어 장치(130)로 전송한다. 상태 감시 제어 장치(130)는 수신된 상태 정보의 종류에 따라 경보를 발령하고, 이에 따라 운용요원이 현장으로 출동하여 상황을 처리한다. 이와같이 종래에는 원격지의 상황을 단지 센서가 감지한 상태 정보만으로 판단해야 하므로 센서의 오동작 혹은 사용자의 부주의로 인한 오동작이 발생할 염려가 있을 수가 있다. 따라서 종래 장치에서는 실제로 운용자가 출동해야하는 긴급한 상황인지 아니면 오동작에 의한 경보 상태인지를 정확하게 구분할 수 없고 전화선이 끊어지면 즉시 그 상황을 알 수 없는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명이 이루고자하는 기술적과제는 원격지의 화상 정보를 전화선을 통해 비대칭 고속 모뎀을 이용하여 선별적으로 수집함으로서 원격지의 시스템을 화상으로 감시하는 장치를 제공하는 데있다.
도 1은 종래의 원격 관리 장치의 구성을 보이는 블록도이다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치의 제1실시예이다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치의 제2실시예이다.
상기의 기술적 과제를 해결하기 위하여 본 발명은 화상 정보 모니터 장치에 있어서, 원격지에 설치되어 상황이 모니터링된 화상 데이터를 송신하는 복수개의 원격지 장치; 상기 복수개의 원격지 장치중에서 상태 정보에 따라 선별적으로 선택하고 그로부터 전송되는 화상 데이터를 수신하여 화면에 디스플레이하는 집중국 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치이다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치의 제1실시예이며, 원격지에 설치되어 상황을 모니터하는 복수개의 원격지 장치#1 ... #n, 임의의 원격지 장치를 선택하고 그로부터 전송되는 화상 정보를 받아 처리하는 집중국 장치로 구성되며, 복수개의 원격지 장치는 카메라(202,208), 화상 신호 엔코더(204,210), 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(206,212)으로 이루어지며, 집중국 장치는 원격지 장치#1 ... #n에 전화선(216,218)으로 연결되며, 복수개의 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀#1 ....#n(220, 224), 상태감시 제어장치(230), 화상 신호 디코더(226), 화상 디스플레이부(228)로 이루어진다.
도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 복수개의 원격지 장치#1...#n은 집중국 장치와 항상 통신 선로를 정상 상태로 유지하면서 원격지의 화상 데이터를 집중국 장치로 전송하며, 집중국 장치중 상태 감시 제어 장치(230)는 운용자가 선택하는 원격지의 화상 및 상태 정보를 선별적으로 선택하여 선택된 원격지의 상황을 감시할 수 있도록 한다. 원격지 장치#1 ... #n에서의 카메라(202,208)는 감시하고자하는 장소의 영상을 전기적인 신호, 즉 아날로그 신호로 변환하는 광전 전환부이다. 화상 신호 엔코더(204,210)는 카메라에서 출력되는 아날로그 영상 신호를 고속 데이터 모뎀이 전송할 수 있는 데이터 속도의 디지털 영상 데이터로 엔코딩하여 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(206,212)으로 전송한다.
비대칭 고속 데이터 모뎀(206,212,220,224)은 ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line:비대칭 디지털 가입자 라인)방식을 이용한다. ADSL은 비디오 온 디맨드(Video On Demand) 서비스에서 기존의 전화선을 이용하여 비디오 신호를 제공할 수 있는 전송 기술이며, 비대칭을 이용하는 이유는 비디오 서버로부터 가입자로 전달되는 하향 신호(Downstream) 채널이 가입자가 비디오 서버로 보내는 상향 신호(Upstream) 채널에 비해서 훨씬 큰 대역폭을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(206,212)은 입력된 디지털 영상 데이터를 아날로그 영상 신호로 변조하여 대역폭이 넓은 단방향 채널(216,218)을 통해 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀(220,224)으로 전송한다. 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀(220,224)은 수신된 아날로그 영상 신호를 디지털 영상 데이터로 복조한다. 여기서 비대칭 고속 모뎀(206,212,202,224)은 기존의 전화 통화에 지장을 주지 않으므로 별도의 전송 선로가 불필요하다. 상태 감시 제어 장치(230)는 운용자의 선택에 따라 각각의 복조된 디지털 영상 데이터중 선택된 원격지 장치로부터 전송되는 디지털 영상 데이터를 화상 신호 디코더(226)에 인가한다. 화상 신호 디코더(226)는 디지털 영상 데이터를 화상 디스플레이부(228)에 영상으로 나타나도록하는 영상 신호로 디코딩한다. 화상 디스플레이부(228)는 화상 신호 디코더(226)에서 수신되는 영상 신호를 특정 형태의 문자나 그래픽으로 표시한다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치의 제2실시예이며, 복수개의 원격지 장치#1 .... #n는 카메라(301,307), 센서(302,306), 화상 신호 엔코더(303,308), 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(304,309), 상태 감시 제어 장치(305,310)으로 이루어지며, 집중국 장치는 원격지 장치#1 ... #n에 전화선(311,312)로 연결되며, 복수개의 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀#1 ....#n(314, 316), 상태감시 제어 장치(320), 화상 신호 디코더(318), 화상 디스플레이부(322)로 이루어진다.
도 3의 화상 모니터 장치는 도 2의 원격지 장치 #1 ... #n에 상태 감시 제어 장치(305,310)와 센서(302,306)이 추가로 설치된다. 상태 감시 제어 장치(305,310)는 센서가 감지한 상태 정보를 수집하여 상태 감시 제어 장치(320)로 전송할 수 있도록한다. 센서(302,306)는 어느 특정 장소에서의 이상 상태를 감지하고 감지된 정보 상태를 상태 감지 제어 장치(305,310)로 인가한다. 상태 감시 제어 장치(305,310)는 감지된 상태 정보를 약속된 상태 정보 데이터로 변환하여 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(304,309)으로 전송한다. 비대칭 고속 데이터 자국 모뎀(304,309)은 단방향 데이터 채널보다 대역폭이 좁은 데이터 채널(311,312)을 통하여 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀#1 ... #n(314,316)으로 전송한다. 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀#1 ... #n(314,316)은 수신된 상태 정보를 상태 감시 제어 장치(320)의 선택에 무관하게 화상 신호 디코더(318)에 전송한다. 상태 감시 제어 장치(320)는 수신된 상태 정보의 내용에 따라 가시 가청 경보를 발령할 수도 있으며 상태 정보의 내용에 따라 자동적으로 상태 정보를 송신한 원격지에서 전송해온 디지털 영상 데이터를 화상 신호 디코더(318)에 입력하도록 제어 한다. 화상 신호 디코더(318)는 비대칭 고속 데이터 모국 모뎀#1 ... #n(314,316)에서 입력된 디지털 영상 데이터를 화상 디스플레이부(322)에 영상으로 나타나도록하는 영상 신호로 디코딩한다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명에 의하면, 원격지에서 센서가 이상 상태를 감지하여 그 상태 정보를 상태 감시 제어 장치로 전송하게 되면 운용자가 원격지의 상황을 영상 화면으로 확인하고 적절한 조취를 취할 수 있으므로 불필요한 운용 요원의 출동을 막을 수있으며, 원격지 장치와 집중국 장치는 항상 통신 채널을 유지하고 있으므로 전화선이 절단되면 즉시 그 상황을 감지할 수 있으며, 또한 무인 경비 시스템의 경우 이상 상태가 발생하면 그 상황을 화상으로 전송 받아 신속한 조취를 취할 수 있는 이점이 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치에 있어서,
    원격지에 설치되어 상황이 모니터링된 화상 데이터를 송신하는 복수개의 원격지 장치;
    원격지의 상태 정보에 따라 상기 복수개의 원격지 장치들을 선별적으로 선택하고 그로부터 전송되는 화상 데이터를 수신하여 화면에 디스플레이하는 집중국 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 원격지 장치는 주변 상황을 전기적인 신호로 변환하는 광전 전환부;
    상기 케메라부의 아날로그 신호를 영상 데이터로 변환하는 엔코더부;
    상기 엔코더부의 영상 데이터를 변조하여 전화선을 통해 송신하는 제1모뎀부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1모뎀부는 비대칭 고속 모뎀인것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광전 전환부는 카메라인 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 집중국 장치는 상기 제1모뎀부에서 변조된 영상 데이터를 복조하는 제2모뎀부;
    상기 제2모뎀부로부터 복조된 영상 데이터를 화상 신호로 디코드하는 디코더부;
    상기 디코더부의 영상 신호를 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제2모뎀부는 비대칭 고속 모뎀인것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 원격지의 주변 상태를 감지하는 센서부;
    상기 센서부에서 감지된 상태 정보를 수신하여 상기 제1,제2모뎀으로 송신하는 제1상태 감시 제어부;
    상기 제1,제2모뎀부에서 수신되는 상태 정보 내용에 따라 상기 디코더부에서 상기 원격지 장치들의 영상 데이터를 선택적으로 출력하고 그에 대응되는 경보를 발령하는 제2상태 감시 제어부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 화상 정보 모니터 장치.
