Abstract

본 발명은 프로그램 시간 데이터 처리방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 현재 선국된 채널이 외부입력용 채널인가를 체크하는 단계; 외부 입력용 채널 선국시에는 비디오신호에 실려진 프로그램 시간데이터가 현재 시간데이터인가를 체크하는 단계; 현재 시간데이터이면 프로그램 시간데이터로 메모리에 저장된 이전의 프로그램 데이터를 업데이터시키는 단계; 현재 시간데이터가 아니면 현재 수신된 프로그램 시간데이터를 무시하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Description

프로그램 시간데이터 처리방법
본 발명은 프로그램 시간데이터 처리방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 이전 프로그램 시간데이터를 가진 텔레비젼 신호입력시에는 이 신호로부터 추출된 프로그램 시간데이터를 프로그램 시간데이터 저장용 메모리에 업데이트 하지 않고 현재의 저장된 프로그램 시간데이터를 그대로 유지할 수 있는 프로그램 시간데이터의 처리방법을 제공하는 데 있다.
텔레비젼 방송국으로부터 송출되는 텔레비젼 신호의 수직귀선기간에 프로그램 시간데이터를 삽입하여 보내고 VCR과 같은 예약녹화가 가능한 텔레비젼 수신장치에서는 이러한 프로그램 시간데이터를 추출하여 메모리에 저장하고 사용자가 미리 예약한 예약녹화시간을 비교하여 해당시간이 되었을 경우에는 예약녹화를 실행하는 방송 프로그램 시간데이터 서비스기능을 가지고 있다.
프로그램 시간데이터는 방송국에서 실시간적으로 텔레비젼 방송 프로그램의 안내정보와 현재 방송국의 시간정보로 구성되어 있으므로 방송국의 사정에 따라 프로그램의 방영시간이 변경되더라도 수신장치에서 이러한 변경에 방애받지 않고 해당 방송프로그램을 원하는 시간에 예약녹화할 수 있다.
그러나, 케이블 텔레비젼과 같은 유선방송은 비디오 테이프로 녹화된 방송 프로그램을 예컨대, 하루 지나서 시청자에게 제공하게 되는 바, 이러한 신호에도 방송 프로그램 시간 데이터가 실려 있으므로 수신장치에서는 이 프로그램 시간 데이터를 추출하여 메모리에 저장된 방송프로그램 시간 데이터를 업데이터시키게 되고 이에 과거의 프로그램 시간데이터에 의해 예약녹화가 실행되는 문제가 있었다.
본 발명의 목적은 이와 같은 종래 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 저장된 프로그램 시간 데이터 보다 이전의 프로그램 시간 데이터를 가진 정보가 추출된 경우에는 이 정보를 무시함으로써 예약녹화의 오동작을 방지할 수 있는 프로그램 시간데이터 처리방법을 제공하는 데 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명의 방법은 현재 선국된 채널이 외부입력용 채널인가를 체크하는 단계; 외부 입력용 채널 선국시에는 비디오신호에 실려진 프로그램 시간데이터가 현재 시간데이터인가를 체크하는 단계; 현재 시간데이터이면 프로그램 시간데이터로 메모리에 저장된 이전의 프로그램 데이터를 업데이터시키는 단계; 현재 시간데이터가 아니면 현재 수신된 프로그램 시간데이터를 무시하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

이하, 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 보다 상세하게 설명하고자 한다.
도 1은 방송 프로그램 시간데이터에 의한 예약녹화기능을 가진 비디오 테이프 기록/재생장치의 구성을 나타낸다. 도 1에서 기록/재생장치는 안테나(10) 또는 고주파 입력단자(12)를 통하여 입력되어 믹서(20)를 통하여 수신되는 텔레비젼신호 중 선택된 채널의 방송신호를 선국하는 튜너(20)와, 튜너(20)에서 복조되어 출력되는 오디오신호를 처리하는 오디오처리부(30)와, 상기 튜너(20)에서 복조되어 출력되는 비디오신호를 처리하는 비디오처리부(40)와 상기 오디오 및 비디오처리부(30, 40)으로부터 출력되는 오디오신호 및 비디오신호를 비디오 테이프상에 기록하는 데크부(50)와, 상기 튜너에서 출력되는 비디오신호로부터 프로그램 시간데이터를 추출하여 디코딩하는 프로그램 시간데이터 디코더(60)와, 명령을 입력하기 위한 키들이 설치된 명령입력부(70)와 리모콘 신호 수신부(80)와, 디코딩된 프로그램 시간 데이터와 예약녹화정보를 저장하는 메모리(90)와 상기 각 부를 제어하는 시스템 제어부(100)을 포함한다.
이와 같은 기록/재생장치에서는 실시간적으로 텔레비젼 신호에 삽입된 프로그램 시간 데이터를 프로그램 시간 데이터 디코더(60)에서 디코딩하고 디코딩된 프로그램 시간 데이터는 제어부(100)에 의해 메모리(90)의 프로그램 시간 데이터 저장영역(94)에 저장하는 방식으로 매일 새로운 프로그램 정보를 업데이트 한다.
한편, 사용자가 명령입력부(70) 또는 리모콘(82)을 통하여 날짜, 채널, 시작시간, 종료시간 등의 프로그램 예약녹화정보를 입력하면 제어부(100)에서는 이 정보를 메모리(90)의 예약녹화정보 저장영역(92)에 저장한다.
이와 같은 상태에서 제어부(100)은 예약녹화정보와 프로그램 시간 데이터를 비교하여 예약된 날짜의 시간에는 예약된 방송 프로그램을 데크부(50)에 장착된 비디오 테이프에 예약녹화하게 된다.
그러나, 케이블 TV를 통하여 텔레비젼 방송신호를 접수하는 경우에는 지방에서는 본 방송국의 프로그램에 비해 하루정도가 지난 프로그램을 송출하게 되는 바, 이러한 신호에 실려있는 프로그램 시간 데이터도 하루가 지난 정보이므로 메모리의 프로그램 시간데이터가 하루가 지난 정보로 업데이트 되게 된다. 따라서, 본 발명에서는 도 2에 도시한 프로그램을 제어부에서 실행함으로써 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 한다.
도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 장치에서는 현재 선국된 채널이 외부입력용 채널인가를 체크하고(102) 외부 입력용 채널 선국시에는 비디오신호에 실려진 프로그램 시간데이터가 현재 시간데이터인가를 제어부(100)에서 체크한다(104). 현재 시간 데이터이면 프로그램 시간 데이터로 메모리(90)에 저장된 이전의 프로그램 데이터를 업데이터시킨다(106). 현재 시간 데이터가 아니면 현재 수신된 프로그램 시간데이터를 무시한다(108).
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명에서는 수신된 텔레비젼 방송신호로부터 추출된 프로그램 시간 데이터가 이전의 데이터인 경우에는 이를 버리고 현재의 시간데이터이면 이 데이터로 메모리에 저장된 프로그램 시간 데이터를 업데이트시킴으로써 올바른 예약녹화가 실행되도록 할 수 있다.

  1. 현재 선국된 채널이 외부입력용 채널인가를 체크하는 단계; 외부 입력용 채널 선국시에는 비디오신호에 실려진 프로그램 시간데이터가 현재 시간데이터인가를 체크하는 단계; 현재 시간데이터이면 프로그램 시간데이터로 메모리에 저장된 이전의 프로그램 데이터를 업데이터시키는 단계; 현재 시간데이터가 아니면 현재 수신된 프로그램 시간데이터를 무시하는 단계를 구비하는 프로그램 시간데이터 처리방법.
