The present invention relates to a door glass weather strip of an automobile, and more particularly, to an end piece installed at both ends of an outside weather strip.
The weather strip of the car is installed in the gap between the door glass and the door, and is made of a rubber material to prevent rainwater or foreign matter from penetrating into the inside. In particular, the weather strip on the outside of the vehicle must have excellent adhesion to prevent rainwater from invading. To prevent mixing.
FIG. 1 shows the installation position of a conventional outsider weather strip, and FIG. 2A shows the detailed structure of this weather strip and an end piece.
The weather strip 10 has a structure in which a portion that intersects the vertical frame 110 of both ends of the door is partially cut, and the iron core 11 is fixed to maintain a constant shape inside. In addition, both ends of the weather strip 20 have a structure in which an end piece 20 is connected to the end of the cross section and fixed to the panel.
The end piece 20 includes a cover plate 21 which is covered on the end face of the weather strip 10, an insertion piece 22 fitted into the iron core 11 on one side of the cover plate, and the insertion piece. It is comprised by the fixing piece 23 which fits in the panel 100 in the lower part of 22, and prevents detachment.
Therefore, in order to assemble the weather strip, it is necessary to form the fixing hole 100a so that the fixing piece 23 of the end piece 20 is fitted into the door panel 100.
The weather strip 10 having the above-described configuration is used in a form in which the end piece 20 is processed so as not to be separated from the iron core 11 by the insertion piece 22. However, if the cutting is bad in the process of cutting the weather strip 10 to a certain length to produce a phenomenon that the iron core 11 protrudes more prominently than the outer shape at both ends. The protrusion of the iron core 11 forms a space between the contact surfaces when the end piece 20 is connected, thereby deteriorating the quality of the product because the finishing state of the exterior is not neat.
2B is a cross-sectional view showing the fixed state of the weather strip by the end piece.
As shown, the fixing piece 23 of the end piece 20 is formed in a wedge shape fixed by elasticity to the fixing hole 100a of the panel 100.
After the weather strip 10 is assembled to the door, the fixing piece 23 of the end piece 20 must be separated from the fixing hole 100a of the door panel 100 in order to remove it for maintenance.
However, since the weather strip 10 is manufactured in a state where the end pieces 20 are fixed together, when the weather strip is separated, the weather strip 10 must be broken so that it cannot be recycled after separation. Therefore, after the maintenance is completed, the end pieces are assembled and replaced with a new weather strip, which incurs a cost to the consumer.
As such, the conventional weather strip and the end piece damage the appearance when the vehicle is completed, and there are problems in that a worker who performs maintenance has a burden on work and an additional cost to a consumer.
The present invention has been proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an end piece of a door glass weather strip for a vehicle that can be reused by being separated and reused during maintenance as well as aesthetics in an assembled state.
According to a feature of the present invention for achieving the above object, the end piece of the weather strip is installed on the door panel portion that the door glass of the vehicle is entered and connected to both side ends of the weather strip inserted into the iron core inside and fixed to the panel And an insert configured to have a cover plate provided on both ends of the weather strip and having a latching portion bent by extending a predetermined length downward, and formed on one side of the cover plate to have a predetermined length fitted into the iron core of one end of the weather strip. It includes a locking jaw formed on the side end portion of the door panel and the piece and the door glass weather strip is installed, the locking jaw of the end piece is fixed to the locking jaw.
In this end piece, projections of a predetermined height are formed around the iron core inside the cover.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention and the effects and effects will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
3 is a view illustrating a structure of a weather strip and a part of a door according to the present invention. Components having the same configuration and function as those shown in FIG. 2 will be described with the same reference numerals.
In the present invention, the end piece 30 used for the weather strip 10 covers the side end of the weather strip, and the lower end of the cover plate 31 extends and is bent to the engaging piece 31a and the inner side of the engaging piece. The insertion piece 32 which fits into the iron core 11 of the one end of the weather strip 10, and the structure which the processus | protrusion 31b of predetermined length are formed around the said iron core 11 are formed.
In addition, the locking jaw 101 is formed at one side of the panel 100 of the door on which the weather strip 10 is installed so that the locking piece 32 of the end piece 30 can be fitted.
The assembly process of the end piece having the above-described structure will be described with reference to FIGS. 4A and 4B.
First, the weather strip is clipped to the panel 100 of the door, and both ends of the weather strip 10 and the panel are fixed at the same time through the end pieces 30 at the ends removed so that the vertical frame 110 is not caught on both sides. do. At this time, the insertion piece 32 of the end piece 30 is fitted to the inside of the iron core 11 and the lower cover piece 31a of the cover 31 is caught and fixed to the locking step 111 of the panel.
As such, the end piece 30 is assembled separately from the weather strip 10, so that when the end piece is removed from the door panel 100 when the weather strip 10 is removed for maintenance, the weather strip is easily separated.
If the end piece is broken during the separation process, the weather strip is not damaged, so only the end piece can be replaced and reused.
It is also possible to omit the operation of forming a hole in the door panel to fix the end piece.
In addition, even if the iron core 11 is protruded to some extent during the cutting process of the weather strip, it is wrapped and covered by the protrusion 31b formed on one side of the cover, so that the finish is neat without harming the beauty.
The present invention having the above-described configuration and operation relationship not only reduces the number of work processes, but also reduces the waste of components when reusing after removal and reduces the burden on the consumer, and has the advantage of improving the appearance of the installation value.
