CARBOPOL 940 was first neutralized with TEA and juice was added. Viscosity was measured on a BROOKFIELD DV-E VISCOMETER for 1 minute under SPINDLE # 4, 30 rpm. The banana juice was desalted using an ion-exchange resin to prepare a desalted banana juice used in the following comparative experiments. The measurement results of viscosity and pH are shown in Table 4 below.

상기 표 4의 결과와 같이, 탈염과즙의 경우 탈염하지 않은 바나나과즙보다 월등히 뛰어난 점도를 나타내었다. 따라서 탈염된 식물 유래 유체를 사용할 경우 소비자가 사용하기에 적당한 점도를 확보할 수 있을 것이다.As shown in Table 4, in the case of desalted juice, the viscosity was much superior to that of the non-desalted banana juice.
