Description

[0001] SEALER DISPENSING APPATATUS [0002]

The present invention relates to a sealer applying apparatus, particularly a hemming sealer applying apparatus for a vehicle panel.

As is known, the door is manufactured by hemming the edges of the inner panel and the outer panel, and the sealer is previously applied along the edge of the inner panel before hemming to strengthen the hemming area.

In the case of door hemming, the length to which the sealer is applied is very long. The sealer is applied along the edge of the sealer applicator panel. However, the sealer is not uniformly applied, or the operation time is long, resulting in a problem of low efficiency.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is based on the recognition of the problems of the prior art as described above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a sealer applicator capable of uniformly and rapidly applying a long-length coated region.

Conventionally, a coating apparatus typified by a sealer gun uses a nozzle having a narrow hole structure. However, as long as such a nozzle structure is used as it is, there is a limit in the case where the sealer is to be applied over a long length as in the application of the door hemming sealer. A new approach is needed.

Accordingly, the present invention seeks to provide a sealer applicator capable of uniformly applying the entire region to be coated. A sealer injection mold having the same shape as the area to be coated can be constructed and simultaneously the entire area can be coated.

A sealer coating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a sealer tube extending along a periphery of an object to be coated to form a closed loop and having a sealer inlet for replenishing the sealer; The sealer tube is formed to extend along the sealer tube to form a closed loop and slidable relative to the sealer tube so that in the first position the connection passage with the sealer tube opens and in the second position the passage with the sealer tube is closed, An air tube configured to open the passageway; And a pneumatic device that supplies a negative pressure when the air tube is in the first position and a positive pressure when the air tube is in the second position.

According to the sealer applying apparatus of the present invention as described above, sealer application can be completed quickly even for a long-length coated region.

Further, since the amount of the sealer to be supplied can be adjusted by using air pressure, the sealer applying apparatus according to the present invention can uniformly sealer even a long length region.

1 is a schematic view of a sealer applying apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention,
FIGS. 2 to 5 illustrate a sealer application process using a sealer application device according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which FIG. 2 shows a sealer filling, FIG. 3 shows a descent of an air tube for applying a sealer, FIG. 5 is a view showing filling of the sealer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, the same components or parts are denoted by the same reference numerals as much as possible for convenience of description.

Referring to FIG. 1, a sealer applying apparatus 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a sealer tube 10 connected to a sealer tank 30 and an air tube 20 connected to a pneumatic device 40.

The sealer tube 10 extends along a region of the object 1 to be coated with a sealer to form a closed loop. In the case of the door hemming as shown in FIG. 1, it has a structure extending to the edge shape of the door panel.

The sealer tube 10 forms a loop of a closed loop, which means that it has a closed structure from the outside except for the control area. The sealer tube 10 is connected to the sealer tank 30 for replenishing the sealer. The connecting hose 31 with the sealer tank 30 may be equipped with a valve 32 for controlling the supply of the sealer.

The air tube 20 extends along the sealer tube 10 to form a closed loop similarly. A valve 42 for regulating the supply of pneumatic pressure to the connection hose 41 may be mounted to the pneumatic device 40 and the pneumatic device 40 may be connected to the pneumatic device 40 capable of supplying negative pressure or positive pressure into the air tube 20 .

2 to 5, the air tube 20 is slidably coupled to the sealer tube 10 in the vertical direction. A known sliding mechanism can be interposed in a plurality of regions between the sealer tube 10 and the air tube 20 and other engagement portions other than the connection passages 12 and 22 between the sealer tube 10 and the air tube 20 It is sealed.

The sealer tube 10 has a sealer inlet 11 connected to the sealer tank 30 and an air hole 21 through which the pressurized air flows into and out from the upper end of the air tube 20.

2 to 5, the sealer application process using the sealer application apparatus 100 according to the embodiment and the operation relationship between the elements will be described.

3 is a view showing a process in which the sealer is filled in the sealer tube 10 for applying the sealer to the object 1. As shown in FIG.

3, the air tube 20 is disposed at a position where the connection passages 12 and 22 with the sealer tube 10 are open or connected when the sealer is filled. When a negative pressure is formed in the air tube 20 by the pneumatic device 40, the sealer flows into the sealer tube 10 and is supplied to the air tube 20 through the connection passages 12,

4 shows how the air tube 20 slides down to apply the sealer to the object 1. The connecting passage 12 of the sealer tube 10 is connected to the partition 23 of the air tube 20 And the connecting passage 22 of the air tube 20 is opened toward the object 1. In this case, At this time, the valve 43 of the pneumatic device connecting hose 42 may be in a locked state.

5 shows a process of applying a sealer to the object 1. The connecting passage 12 of the sealer tube 10 is completely closed by the partition wall 23 and the connecting passage 22 of the air tube 20 is closed. Is completely opened toward the object 1. At this time, pressure air is supplied into the air tube 20 by the pneumatic device 40, whereby the sealer in the air tube 20 is applied to the object 1.

6 is a view showing a sealer refilling process in the air tube 20, in which the air tube 20 is moved upward to connect the connection passages 11 and 22. A negative pressure is formed in the air tube 20 by the pneumatic device 40 so that the sealer is supplied from the sealer tube 10 to the air tube 20 via the connection passages 12 and 22, A sealer is introduced into the sealer tube 10 from the outside.

The sealer applying apparatus according to the above embodiment is schematically shown for conceptual explanations, and a specific structure or structure may be developed in various forms.

While the invention has been shown and described with respect to the specific embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention as set forth in the following claims.

10: sealer tube 12, 22: connection passage
20: air tube 30: sealer tank
40: compressor 100: sealer application device
