Abstract
The present invention discloses a waterproof joint connector for a vehicle. A waterproof joint connector for a vehicle includes a housing having a plurality of terminal connection holes spaced apart from each other, a wire terminal portion that is sealably inserted into the terminal connection hole portion, a wire terminal portion provided in the housing to support different portions of the wire terminal portion, And a sealing cover which is coupled to the housing to support the terminal connection terminal portion. The terminal locking terminal portion is provided on the housing. Therefore, by connecting and fixing the wire terminal portion and the terminal connection terminal portion using a single housing, the number of parts can be reduced, and the fastening force can be improved by fixing the wire terminal portion to double.
Description
More particularly, the present invention relates to a connector for a waterproof joint for a vehicle, and more particularly, to a connector for a waterproof joint for a vehicle, And more particularly to a waterproof joint connector for a vehicle which not only enhances fastening force but also easily separates a connection terminal.
In recent years, with the depletion of carbon energy and the growing interest in the environment, hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles are attracting attention all over the world including the US, Europe, Japan, and Korea.
In the case of a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle, a high voltage / high electric current is used in comparison with a general vehicle. Therefore, an electric device for stably supplying and distributing electric power supplied from the outside of the vehicle to components inside the vehicle is required. In addition, for electronic control of the vehicle, many parts are manufactured in the form of modules, and the use of wires and communication lines to which the connectors are connected has increased sharply in order to transmit current or electrical signals.
Such a connector is used for electrically connecting parts of an automobile and is subjected to various safety inspections so as not to cause electrical failure when mounted on an automobile part.
The conventional connector has an arm housing and a male housing that are mutually detachable, and the female housing and the male housing, which are coupled to each other, are prevented from being separated through the engagement of the fixing member (TPA).
However, in the conventional connector as described above, since waterproof parts are required to be used for both the female and male housings, there is a problem that the number of parts increases and the fastening force of the wire terminal part of the female housing is deteriorated.
Therefore, there is a need to improve this.
On the other hand, Korean Registration Practice No. 20-0264075 (Registered Date: Jan. 30, 2002, name: automobile connector assembly structure)
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described need, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a wire terminal unit and a terminal connection terminal unit which are simultaneously connected and fixed using a single housing, The present invention provides a waterproof joint connector for a vehicle which can easily detach a connection terminal.
To achieve the above object, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a waterproof joint connector for a vehicle, comprising: a housing having a plurality of terminal connection holes spaced apart; A wire terminal portion sealably inserted into the terminal connection hole portion; A terminal locking portion provided on the housing to support different portions of the wire terminal portion, the terminal locking portion fixing the wire terminal portion to the housing; A terminal connection terminal portion provided inside the housing to selectively connect the wire terminal portion; And a sealing cover coupled to the housing to support the terminal connection terminal portion.
In the wire terminal unit, the wire terminal unit may include: a connection terminal to which the terminal connection terminal unit is inserted and connected; A first latching portion to which the terminal locking portion is fixed; And a second latching portion to which the terminal locking portion is fixed.
The terminal locking portion may include a first locking portion movably installed in the housing and inserted into the terminal connection hole portion to fix the wire terminal portion; And a second locking part provided inside the housing to compress or relax the wire terminal part according to the contact of the wire terminal part.
In addition, the housing is provided with a locking guide portion for moving and sealing the first locking portion.
The locking guide portion may include a guide sealing groove in which the first locking portion is inserted and sealed; And a guide groove formed on a bottom surface of the guide sealing groove so as to communicate with the terminal connection hole portion in a vertical direction.
The housing further includes: a cover mounting hole portion sealed by the sealing cover; And a jig insertion hole formed in the cover mounting hole to insert a jig for compressing the second locking part.
The terminal connection hole portion may include a wire sealing hole to be sealed with the wire of the wire terminal portion; A terminal insertion hole communicating with the wire sealing hole for inserting the terminal member of the wire terminal portion and inserted into the terminal locking portion; And a terminal fixing hole into which the terminal connection terminal portion is inserted.
The first locking portion may include a terminal fixing member inserted into the housing through the locking guide portion to penetrate the wire terminal portion and moving into the housing to fix the wire terminal portion; And a locking sealing member extended from the terminal fixing member to be positioned in the locking guide portion and sealing the locking guide portion.
The second locking portion may include an elastic piece extending from the inside of the housing to have elasticity; And a locking protrusion protruding from the elastic piece and fixing the wire terminal portion.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, the waterproof joint connector for a vehicle according to the present invention has the effect that the wire terminal portion and the terminal connection terminal portion can be connected and fixed at the same time and waterproofed by using one housing unlike the prior art.
Further, the waterproof joint connector for a vehicle according to the present invention has the effect of reducing the number of parts, securing the wire terminal part in a double manner to improve the fastening force, and also easily separating the connection terminal.
