도 5는 호우로 인한 피해액과 복구액에 관한 그래프이다.

- 전국의 재난자료를 활용하여 재난이 발생되었거나 또는 재난발생이 예측되는 지역의 방재력을 평가하기 위한 방법으로,
평가대상지역에 관한 재난자료를 획득하는 단계와,
상기 재난자료를 활용하여 상기 평가대상지역의 하기의 식으로 정의되는 방재력비용지수를 산출하는 단계와,

{여기서, L(t)는 피해액, R(t)는 복구액, V(t)는 노출인자, t0와 tf는 각각 분석의 시작과 끝 시점을 의미하고, 상기 노출인자는 지역내총생산, 인구 또는 면적을 포함한다.}
상기 평가대상지역별로 평가대상지역의 방재력비용지수 값이 높은순으로 우선순위를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방재력 비용지수 평가방법.
