Description
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0005] The present invention relates to a tile adhesive having excellent adhesive strength, and more particularly, to a tile adhesive containing an acrylic emulsion resin, a thickener and an inorganic filler as main components, a water-soluble fatty alcohol and a polyethylene glycol (PEG) in a weight ratio of 2: 1 to 3: The present invention relates to a tile adhesive capable of not only shortening the tile construction workability but also reducing the tile construction defect rate and also increasing the adhesive strength of the adhesive, by dramatically extending the short open time which is a disadvantage of the conventional tile adhesive.
Generally, ceramic tiles with excellent durability and beautiful colors and patterns are mainly used for decorating and finishing materials for interior and exterior when newly building or repairing of houses, offices, factories, and the like. In recent years, the shape and size of tiles have been diversified and becoming larger in order to make the work more convenient and more advanced. Regardless of the location, we also want to install tiles in bathroom, washroom, bathroom, etc., which are very humid. For that reason, tile adhesives require high adhesion.
The tile adhesive is referred to as a one-component tile adhesive when the curing agent is not mixed with the curing agent or a two-component type tile adhesive when the curing agent is mixed with the curing agent in order to realize the performance of the adhesive. Mainly composed of an acrylic resin, a thickener, a filler, and the like.
According to the adhesive strength test conditions of the adhesive for ceramic tile of Korean Industrial Standard KS L 1593, a mortar plate having a size of 70 * 70 mm and a thickness of 20 mm under the test conditions of a standard state, that is, a temperature of 20 ± 2 and a humidity of 65 ± 10% In principle, after 20 minutes, the tile is pasted to evaluate the adhesive strength. Therefore, the open time of most tile adhesives sold on the market is only 20 to 25 minutes.
However, in the construction site where the actual tile is applied, the temperature and humidity conditions are largely different from the standard state depending on the season, and the installation surface is not only the conventional cement surface and the mortar surface but also the ALC block having a large water absorption rate, the gypsum board, , CRC boards, etc., the actual open time of tile adhesives used in construction sites is much shorter. As a result, the tiles adhered to the tile after the actual open time increased, and the risk of safety accidents increased.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem [8] The present invention has been proposed in order to solve the above problems of the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an ALC block having a water absorption rate as well as cement and mortar surfaces, gypsum board, magnesium board, CRC boards, etc., can greatly shorten the open time of tile adhesives that can be shortened, thus improving tile construction workability, reducing the tile construction defect rate, and increasing the adhesive strength of tile adhesives. The purpose is to provide.
In order to achieve the above object, the tile adhesive of the present invention comprises 12 to 22% by weight of an acrylic emulsion resin, 2 to 4% by weight of a thickener, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of a wetting and dispersing agent, 21 to 28% 46 to 51% by weight of an inorganic filler filler, and 0.4 to 4% by weight of an open time retardant composed of a water-soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol.
The open time retardant is formed by mixing water-soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG) in a weight ratio of 2: 1 to 3: 1. Particularly, the water-soluble fatty alcohol has a density of 1.0 g / cm 3, a viscosity of 500 to 600 mPa · s and a solid content of 20%, and the polyethylene glycol (PEG) has an average molecular weight of 190 to 420.
The inorganic filler of the tile adhesive of the present invention is obtained by mixing heavy calcium carbonate and dolomite in a weight ratio of 8: 1 to 10: 1. The heavy calcium carbonate has an average particle size of 10 to 27 탆, 91 Min., And the dolomite has a particle size of 0.07 to 0.15 mm and a whiteness of 91 Min.
The present invention provides a tile adhesive composed mainly of an acrylic emulsion resin, a thickener, and an inorganic filler, and an open time retardant composed of a water-soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG) in an appropriate amount, It is possible to provide a tile adhesive in which the open time of the conventional tile adhesive is remarkably extended.
Therefore, according to the tile adhesive of the present invention, it is possible to improve the tile construction workability and the tile construction rejection ratio in spite of the change of the temperature and / or humidity of the actual construction site and various adhesion surfaces, and also to increase the adhesive force of the adhesive.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail.
First, the tile adhesive of the present invention comprises 12 to 22% by weight of an acrylic emulsion resin, 2 to 4% by weight of a thickener, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of a wet dispersant, 21 to 28% by weight of a diluting solvent, And 0.4 to 4% by weight of an open time retarder composed of a water-soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG).
The acrylic emulsion resin is a copolymerized synthetic resin emulsion such as styrene-acrylic resin containing 48 to 50% by weight of solids. Acrylic emulsion resins are synthesized by copolymerizing two or three types of acrylic monomers. Examples of the acrylic monomers include 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA), acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, , Methyl methacrylate (MMA), and the like, and those prepared using styrene as a reinforcing agent for enhancing water resistance are used.
The thickener is used to maintain a high viscosity and to have a property of thixotropy which shows flowability when an external force is applied, so that excellent workability can be obtained. However, caution should be exercised when the amount of the thickener used is large, because the water-absorbing property deteriorates the water resistance. As the thickening agent, acrylic resin is chlorinated with ammonia water.
The wetting and dispersing agent functions to atomize the inorganic filler into the acrylic emulsion resin, and an unsaturated fatty acid polyamine system having good compatibility with the acrylic emulsion resin is used.
As the diluting solvent, ion exchange water purified by ion exchange method is used. When the content of ion-exchanged water is low, workability and moisturizing property are deteriorated. When the content of ion-exchanged water is high, the viscosity of the adhesive decreases.
The open time delay agent serves to prolong the open time of the tile adhesive of the present invention, and is made by mixing a water soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG). The mixing ratio of the water-soluble fatty alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG) is preferably 2: 1 to 3: 1. Depending on the mixing ratio, it is desirable to adhere to the tile adhesive, which is the final product, because it affects the open time, drying speed and initial adhesive strength, storage stability and slip resistance. The water-soluble fatty alcohol preferably has a density of 1.0 g / cm 3, a viscosity of 500 to 600 mPa.s, a solid content of 20%, and an average molecular weight of polyethylene glycol (PEG) of 190 to 420.
Examples of the water-soluble fatty alcohols include cetyl alcohol, cetyl stearyl alcohol, xyl alcohol, paltyl alcohol, and ceracill alcohol. In the present invention, cetyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, Cetyl stearyl alcohol is particularly preferably used.
As the inorganic filler, calcium carbonate and aggregate are mainly used. As the calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate having an average particle size of 10 to 27 탆 and a whiteness of 91 Min. Is preferably used. As the aggregate, Dolomite and the like can be used. In the present invention, dolomite having better whiteness and strength than silica sand and lecturer is preferably used. The dolomite has a particle size of 0.07-0.15 mm and a whiteness of 91 Min. Is particularly preferable.
Since the storage stability of the tile adhesive, the adhesive strength and the open time are influenced by the mixing ratio of the heavy calcium carbonate and dolomite in the present invention, the mixing ratio of the two is in the range of 8: 1 to 10: 1 desirable.
Hereinafter, the constitution and effects of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[Example]
≪ Preparation of tile adhesive >
Ion exchanged water as a diluting solvent, SN-DISPERSANT 44S (trade name) sold by Nopco Corporation, Korea as a wetting and dispersing agent, and acrylic emulsion resin were placed in a mixer for 3 minutes After stirring, an inorganic filler composed of heavy calcium carbonate and dolomite is added and stirred for 5 minutes. Thereafter, an open time retarding agent and a thickener (SK-T-55 (product of Sankom Chemical Co., Ltd.)) were added, respectively, and stirred for 10 minutes. After completing the agitation, vacuum the mixture in a vacuum of 60-75 cmHg for 5 minutes and then pack the tile adhesive in the container.
<Measurement method>
In order to confirm the effects of the present invention, the open time of the tile adhesives of Examples and Comparative Examples 1 to 6 prepared as shown in Table 1 was measured according to Korean Industrial Standard KS L 1593 6.3.6, and the storage stability, The adhesive strength was measured according to Korean Industrial Standard KS L 1593. The results are shown in Table 2.
As shown in Table 2, the open time of the tile adhesive according to the present invention is 35 minutes, while the open time of the tile adhesive according to Comparative Examples 1 and 2 is 20 minutes and 22 minutes, respectively, It can be confirmed that the open time of the tile adhesive of the present invention is certainly extended. In addition, in the adhesive strength of the adhesive, the tile adhesive of the present invention according to the present invention hardly lowered the adhesive strength in the 15-minute adhesive test and the 30-minute adhesive test, Degradation was clearly measured.
As shown in Table 2, the test results of Examples and Comparative Examples 3 and 4 show that the mixing ratio of the water-soluble fatty alcohol and the polyethylene glycol constituting the open time retardant is 2: 1 to 3: 1 When the weight ratio is out of the range, the open time of the tile adhesive does not change much, but it can be confirmed that there is an abnormality in the storage stability and the sliding resistance.
Finally, the test results of Examples and Comparative Examples 5 and 6 show that, unlike the present invention, when the mixing ratio of heavy calcium carbonate to dolomite constituting the inorganic filler is out of the weight ratio of 8: 1 to 10: 1 , The sliding resistance of the tile adhesive is not abnormal, but it can be confirmed that there is an abnormality in open time, storage stability and adhesive strength.
As a result, it was confirmed that the tile adhesive according to the present invention had a significantly longer open time than the tile adhesive according to the comparative example, and had excellent storage stability, slip resistance and adhesive strength.
The tile adhesive according to the present invention has improved open time, storage stability, slip resistance and adhesive strength as compared with the conventional tile adhesive, so that the workability of the tile can be improved and the defect rate of tile construction can be reduced.
