Claims (6)
- 엔진으로부터 연소된 배기가스가 유입구로 유입되어 필터를 경유한 후 배출구를 통해 배출되는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법에 있어서, 입자상물질 저감장치의 저감효율이 차량의 배기량과 필터의 체적 비와, 필터의 두께와, 배기가스 출구(또는 입구)의 허용두께에 의해서 결정되는 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 필터는 레이디얼(radial)형 금속 폼 필터로서, 다공성 튜브를 적층형태 또는 마는 형태로 둘러싸는 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 자동차의 배기량 대 필터의 체적 비가 1 : 1± 0.2인 경우 50% 이하의 저감효율을 만족하고, 자동차의 배기량 대 필터의 체적 비가 1 : 1.5± 0.2인 경우 50% 내지 80% 이하의 저감효율을 만족하며, 자동차의 배기량 대 필터의 체적 비가 1 : 2± 0.2인 경우 80% 내지 99% 이하의 저감효율을 만족하는 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 필터의 두께(tF)는 저감효율을 80% 내지 99% 이하를 만족하게 하기 위해서 40 내지 50 mm 인 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 배기가스 출구(또는 입구)의 허용 두께인 반경에서 필터의 반경을 제외한 두께(ti)는 5 mm 이상인 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,다공성 튜브의 반경(Rpo)은 50mm < Rpo< R-(ti+tF)[mm]으로 정의되는데, 여기서, R은 차종의 따라 요구되는 장치의 직경이고, ti는 배기가스 출구(또는 입구)의 허용 두께인 반경에서 필터의 반경을 제외한 두께이며, tF는 필터의 두께인 것을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 입자상물질 저감장치의 형상 설계방법.
