Abstract

- 표시 패널의 내부에 위치하고, 복수의 주사 신호가 전달되는 복수의 주사선, 복수의 데이터 전압이 전달되는 복수의 데이터선, 복수의 발광 신호가 전달되는 복수의 발광 신호선, 복수의 데이터 전류가 싱크되는 복수의 싱크 전류선, 및 상기 복수의 주사선, 상기 복수의 데이터선, 상기 복수의 발광 신호선 및 상기 복수의 싱크 전류선에 각각 연결된 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시부;
제1 영상 데이터를 상기 복수의 데이터 전압으로 변환하여 상기 복수의 데이터선에 각각 인가하는 제1 데이터 구동부; 및
제2 영상 데이터를 상기 복수의 데이터 전류로 변환하여 상기 복수의 싱크 전류선에 각각 인가하는 제2 데이터 구동부를 포함하고,

상기 제2 노드의 전압에 대응하는 구동 전류를 생성하는 제3 트랜지스터;
상기 주사 신호에 따라 스위칭 동작하며, 상기 제3 트랜지스터를 다이오드 연결시키는 제4 트랜지스터;
상기 발광 신호에 따라 스위칭 동작하며, 상기 구동 전류를 상기 유기 발광 다이오드로 전달하는 제5 트랜지스터;
상기 주사 신호에 따라 스위칭 동작하며, 상기 전류 싱크선과 상기 제3 트랜지스터를 연결시키는 제6 트랜지스터;
제1 전원전압 단자에 연결된 일단 및 상기 제1 노드에 연결된 타단을 포함하는 제1 커패시터; 및
상기 제1 전원전압 단자에 연결된 일단 및 상기 제2 노드에 연결된 타단을 포함하는 제2 커패시터; 및
를 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제4 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 발광 신호 중 상기 복수의 화소 각각에 대응하는 발광 신호가 인가될 때 상기 구동 전류는 상기 제1 및 제2 노드의 전압의 합에 대응하는 크기인 표시 장치. - 표시 패널의 내부에 위치하고, 복수의 주사 신호가 전달되는 복수의 주사선, 복수의 데이터 전압이 전달되는 복수의 데이터선, 복수의 발광 신호가 전달되는 복수의 발광 신호선, 복수의 데이터 전류가 싱크되는 복수의 싱크 전류선, 및 상기 복수의 주사선, 상기 복수의 데이터선, 상기 복수의 발광 신호선 및 상기 복수의 싱크 전류선에 각각 연결된 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 방법에 있어서,
외부로부터 입력 신호를 전달받아, 상기 입력 신호를 소정의 비율에 따라 제1 및 제2 영상 데이터로 분할하는 단계;
상기 제1 영상 데이터를 데이터 전압으로 변환하고, 상기 제2 영상 데이터를 데이터 전류로 변환하는 단계; 및
상기 복수의 주사 신호 중 상기 복수의 화소 각각에 대응하는 주사 신호가 인가될 때 해당 화소에 상기 데이터 전압 및 상기 데이터 전류를 동시에 전달하는 단계
를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 방법. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 발광 신호 중 상기 복수의 화소 각각에 대응하는 발광 신호가 인가될 때 상기 데이터 전압 및 상기 데이터 전류에 따른 전압의 합에 대응하는 구동 전류에 따라 해당 화소가 발광하는 단계
를 더 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 방법. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 데이터 전압 및 상기 데이터 전류 중 어느 하나는 상기 표시 패널의 외부로부터 전달되는 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
