- 시료를 연속적으로 희석하는 미세채널 칩으로서,희석제가 주입되는 희석제 유입구;상기 희석제 유입구와 연결되어, 상기 희석제가 통과하는 제1채널;상기 시료가 주입되는 시료 유입구; 및상기 시료 유입구와 연결되어, 상기 시료가 통과하는 제2채널을 포함하되,상기 제1채널은 상기 희석제가 분기되는 복수개의 분기점을 포함하고,상기 제2채널은 상기 희석제가 유입되는 복수개의 합류점을 포함하며,상기 복수 개의 분기점 및 상기 복수 개의 합류점은 서로 일대일로 분기채널에 의하여 연결되고,상기 제2채널에서 각 합류점의 다음 위치에는 상기 시료가 상기 희석제에 의하여 희석된 희석액을 유출구로 유출시키기 위한 유출 채널이 연결되고,상기 제1채널 및 제2채널은 폭, 단면적 및 길이 중 어느 하나 이상이 조절되며,상기 제1채널로부터 각 분기채널을 통하여 상기 제2채널로 유입되는 희석제의 유량이 서로 동일하고, 상기 제2채널로부터 각각의 유출채널로 유출되는 희석액의 유량도 서로 동일하며, 상기 분기채널을 통하여 상기 제2채널에 유입되는 희석제의 유량과 상기 유출채널을 통하여 제2채널로부터 유출되는 희석액의 유량이 서로 동일하도록, 상기 각 분기채널과 상기 각 유출채널의 폭방향 단면적은 서로 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 미세채널 칩.
- 제 5 항에 따른 미세채널 칩을 사용하여 시료를 1:n의 비율(여기에서 n은 1보다 큰 실수이다)로 연속적으로 희석하는 방법으로서,상기 희석제 유입구를 통하여 상기 제1채널에 희석제를 유입시키는 단계(a);상기 시료 유입구를 통하여 상기 제2채널에 시료를 유입시키는 단계(b); 및상기 유출구를 통하여 희석액을 얻는 단계(c)를 포함하되,상기 단계(b)에서 상기 제2채널로 유입되는 시료의 유량과, 상기 단계(a)에서 희석제가 유입된 후 상기 각 분기채널을 통하여 상기 제2채널로 유입되는 희석제의 유량의 비는 1:(n-1)인 것을 특징으로 하는 희석 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 미세채널 칩 상에 상기 분기채널이 k개인 경우,상기 단계(b)에서 상기 제2채널로 유입되는 시료의 유량과, 상기 단계(a)에서 상기 제1채널로 유입되는 희석제의 유량의 비는 1:(n-1)k인 것을 특징으로 하는 희석 방법.
