Abstract

본 발명은 디지털 위성방송 선물시스템에 관한 것으로, 디지털 방송위성으로부터 수신되는 다양한 채널의 방송 중 특정한 채널의 방송을 다른 사람에게 선물하는 디지털 위성방송 선물시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 디지털 방송위성으로부터 디지털 위성방송의 수신이 가능한 제2 단말기로 특정 채널의 방송을 선물하기 위한 제1 단말기와, 상기 제1 단말기로부터 요청된 특정 채널의 위성방송 선물 정보를 전송 포맷에 따라 단문메시지 시스템을 통해 상기 제2 단말기로 전송하는 서비스 서버와, 상기 제1 단말기로부터 입력된 상기 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보에 관한 결제정보를 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송받아 결제처리하는 결제서버와, 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송된 선물 정보에 해당하는 특정 채널의 방송을 수신하는 제2 단말기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.

디지털 방송 선물시스템{Present system for digital multimedia broadcasting}
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 방송 선물시스템의 구성을 나타내는 블록 구성도.

본 발명은 디지털 방송 선물시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 디지털 방송으로부터 수신되는 다양한 채널의 방송 중 특정한 채널의 방송을 다른 사람에게 선물하는 디지털 방송 선물시스템에 관한 것이다.
디지털 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, 이하 DMB)은 위성을 쏘아 올려 휴대폰, PDA 등 개인 휴대용 단말기를 이용해 다수개의 채널로 제공되는 비디오, 오디오, 데이터 등의 디지털 방송을 수신할 수 있는 서비스이다. 기존 이동통신사의 멀티미디어 서비스는 이미 방영된 프로그램을 VOD를 이용해 다시 본다는 성격이 강했지만 DMB는 실시간 서비스라는 개념이 강하다. 그러나, 이와 같은 디지털 방송 서비스를 사용하고 있지 않거나 관심이 없는 사람들은 인터넷이나 다른 오프라인상의 광고매체를 통해 개략적인 정보만을 인식하게 됨으로써 실질적으로 디지털 방송 서비스를 이용하기까지는 많은 시간이 소요되게 된다. 이에 따라, 방송 서비스 사업자 입장에서는 신규고객을 유치하거나 서비스 매출을 증대시키는데 어려움이 뒤따르는 문제점이 있었다.
따라서, 본 발명은 상술한 종래의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로서, 본 발명의 목적은 다양한 채널을 통해 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 디지털 방송 중 특정 채널의 방송을 다른 사람에게 선물할 수 있도록 한 디지털 방송 선물시스템을 제공함에 있다.
상기 본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위한 디지털 방송 선물시스템은 디지털 방송으로부터 디지털 방송의 수신이 가능한 제2 단말기로 특정 채널의 방송을 선물하기 위한 제1 단말기로부터 요청된 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보를 전송 포맷에 따라 단문메시지 시스템을 통해 상기 제2 단말기로 전송하는 서비스 서버와, 상기 제1 단말기로부터 입력된 상기 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보에 관한 결제정보를 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송받아 결제처리하는 결제서버와, 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송된 선물 정보에 해당하는 특정 채널의 방송을 수신하는 제2 단말기로 구성된다.
이하, 본 발명에 따른 실시예를 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 방송 선물시스템의 구성을 나타내는 블록 구성도이다.
도시된 바와 같이, 디지털 방송(10)으로부터 디지털 방송의 수신이 가능한 제2 단말기(30)로 특정 채널의 방송을 선물하기 위한 제1 단말기(20)와, 제1 단말기(20)로부터 요청된 특정 채널의 방송 선물 메시지를 단문메시지 시스템(40)을 통해 제2 단말기(30)로 전송하는 서비스 서버(50)와, 제1 단말기(20)로부터 요청된 특정 채널의 방송에 관한 선물 대금을 서비스 서버(50)의 요청에 의해 결제하는 결제서버(60)로 구성된다.
제1 단말기(20)는 무선 인터넷망을 통해 서비스 서버(50)에 접속하여 디지털 방송(10)으로부터 수신 가능한 방송 중 특정 채널의 방송이 제2 단말기(30)로 수신될 수 있도록 하기 위해 제2 단말기(30)의 전화번호(Customer Telephone Number: CTN)를 입력한다.
서비스 서버(50)는 제1 단말기(20)로부터 입력된 제2 단말기(30)의 전화번호(CTN)를 확인한 후 먼저, 입력된 전화번호에 해당하는 제2 단말기(30)가 디지털 방송을 수신할 수 있는 단말기인지를 조회한다. 조회 결과, 만약 제2 단말기(30)가 디지털 방송을 수신할 수 있는 단말기인 것으로 확인되면 이러한 사실을 단문메시지 시스템(40)을 통해 제1 단말기(20)로 통보한다.
이에 따라, 제1 단말기(20)는 서비스 서버(50)에 접속하여 제2 단말기(30)로 선물하고자 하는 특정 방송의 시간 정보와, 방송코드정보 및 프로그램 등의 선물 정보 및 선물 정보에 대한 결제 정보를 입력한다. 이에 따라, 서비스 서버(50)는 제1 단말기(20)로부터 입력된 특정 방송의 선물 정보를 단문메시지 시스템(40)을 통해 제2 단말기(30)로 전송함과 동시에 결제 정보를 결제서버(60)로 전송한다. 이에 따라, 결제서버(60)는 서비스 서버(50)로부터 전송된 결제 정보를 처리하여 저장한다. 특히, 서비스 서버(50)로부터 제2 단말기(30)로 방송의 선물 정보 전송시의 전송 포맷은 첨부된 도 2에서와 같이, 각 필드를 구분하기 위한 구분자(0X1D, 0X1D, 0X1D, 0X1D, 0X1D, 0X1D, 0X03)의 구분에 의해 여러개의 필드로 구분되어진다. 즉, 채널정보가 저장되는 채널필드와, 방송코드정보가 저장되는 방송코드필드와, 프로그램의 코드정보가 저장되는 프로그램필드와, 시간정보가 저장되는 시간필드로 구분되어지며, 특히 시간필드는 해당 프로그램의 시작시간이 저장되는 제1 시간필드와, 프로그램의 종료시간이 저장되는 제2 시간필드와, 프로그램 시작시간부터 시청 가능한 시간이 저장되는 제3 시간필드와, 프로그램을 보기 시작한 후부터 시청 가능한 시간이 저장되는 제4 시간필드로 구분되어진다. 여기서, 바이트(byte)를 단위로 하였을 경우 채널필드는 3자리, 방송코드필드는 30자리가 바람직하며 방송코드로는 G코드 등을 사용할 수 있다.
이와 같이, 상기 전송 포맷에 따라 서비스 서버(50)로부터 제2 단말기(30)로 특정 방송의 선물 정보가 전달됨에 따라, 제2 단말기(30)의 사용자는 디지털 방송(10)으로부터 해당 방송을 시청할 수 있게 되는 것이다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명에 따르면, 다양한 채널을 통해 제공되는 디지털 방송 중 특정 채널의 방송을 방송 서비스를 사용하고 있지 않는 사람에게 선물함으로써, 신규 고객을 유치할 수 있게 되며 방송 서비스의 매출 증대를 가져오게 되는 효과가 있다.
이상에서 설명한 것은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 방송 선물시스템을 실시하기 위한 하나의 실시예에 불과한 것으로서, 본 발명은 상기한 실시예에 한정되지 않고, 이하의 특허청구의 범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 누구든지 다양한 변경 실시가 가능한 범위까지 본 발명의 기술적 정신이 있다고 할 것이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 디지털 방송으로부터 디지털 방송의 수신이 가능한 제2 단말기로 특정 채널의 방송을 선물하기 위한 제1 단말기로부터 요청된 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보를 전송 포맷에 따라 단문메시지 시스템을 통해 상기 제2 단말기로 전송하는 서비스 서버와,
    상기 제1 단말기로부터 입력된 상기 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보에 관한 결제정보를 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송받아 결제처리하는 결제서버를 포함하고,
    상기 제2단말기는, 상기 서비스 서버로부터 전송된 선물 정보에 해당하는 특정 채널의 방송을 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 방송 선물시스템.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 서비스 서버로부터 상기 제2 단말기로 전송되는 특정 채널의 방송 선물 정보의 전송 포맷은 채널정보가 저장되는 채널필드와, 방송코드정보가 저장되는 방송코드필드와, 프로그램의 코드정보가 저장되는 프로그램필드와, 시간정보가 저장되는 시간필드로 구분되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 방송 선물시스템.
  3. 제 2항에 있어서,
    상기 시간필드는 프로그램의 시작시간이 저장되는 제1 시간필드와, 프로그램의 종료시간이 저장되는 제2 시간필드와, 프로그램 시작시간부터 시청 가능한 시간이 저장되는 제3 시간필드와, 프로그램을 시청한 후부터 시청 가능한 시간이 저장되는 제4 시간필드로 구분되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 방송 선물시스템.
