Claims (34)
- 내부식성의 손실 없이 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트의 표면 경도, 내마모성 또는 피로 강도를 개선시키는 방법으로서,적어도 하나의 탄소 함유 기체를 포함하는 분위기 하에서, 300 내지 550℃ 범위의 온도 및 100 내지 1500 Pa의 압력에서 1 내지 50시간 동안 임플란트를 플라즈마 처리하여, 상기 임플란트의 표면 영역 내로 탄소를 도입시켜서, 코발트 내에 탄소의 과포화 고용체를 생성시키는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트의 표면 경도, 내마모성 또는 피로 강도 개선 방법.

- 선행하는 항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,Co-Cr계 합금은 몰리브덴, 니켈, 텅스텐, 티타늄 및 탄소로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 다른 합금 성분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트의 표면 경도, 내마모성 또는 피로 강도 개선 방법.
- 선행하는 항들 중 어느 한 항의 방법에 의해 제조될 수 있는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트로서,코발트 내에 탄소의 과포화 고용체를 포함하는 표면 영역을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
- 제29항에 있어서,표면 영역은 3 내지 50 ㎛ 범위의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
- 제29항 또는 제30항에 있어서,Co-Cr계 합금은 몰리브덴, 니켈, 텅스텐, 티타늄 및 탄소로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 다른 합금 성분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
- 제31항에 있어서,탄소가 합금 성분으로서 0.04 내지 1.6 중량%로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
- 제32항에 있어서,탄소는 0.04 내지 0.4 중량% 범위로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
- 제29항 내지 제33항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,통상의 히프 또는 무릎 관절 보철물, 메탈-온-메탈 진보된 뼈 보존 보철물, 또는 치과용 임플란트인 것을 특징으로 하는 표면-경화된 코발트-크롬계 합금 의료용 임플란트.
