Claims (5)
- 통신 시스템의 통신 채널을 통해 다수의 전송기들을 통하여 전송될 다수의 정보 스트림들에 데이터 레이트를 할당하는 방법에 있어서:특정 데이터 레이트와 코드워드 에러값의 확률을 갖는 MCS(Modulation and Coding Set)의 특정 멤버를 선택하도록 코드워드 에러의 확률 대 SNR(Signal to Noise) 커브들에 SNR 값들을 적용하는 단계로서, 상기 적용은 미리 지정된 값 보다 작은 에러 확률을 유지하면서 다른 어떠한 커브의 데이터 레이트 보다 높은 데이터 레이트를 산출하는 커브를 선택함으로써 적용하는 단계, 및이에 따라 스트림들 각각에 할당될 상기 데이터 레이트들을 선택하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 SNR 값들은 상기 스트림들에 이용되는 심볼들의 전체 집합의 전체 평균에 기초하는 심볼 에러의 확률 대 SNR 커브에 상기 스트림들 각각에 대한 에러값의 확률에 대한 상한(upper bound)을 적용하는 것으로부터 얻어지고,상기 상한은 수정된 유니온 바운드를 계산함으로써 계산된 것으로, 상기 수정된 유니온 바운드는 채널 매트릭스, 스트림에서의 신호들의 전송 전력, 및 통신 채널에서의 잡음의 분산의 함수인, 데이터 레이트 할당 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스트림들은 상기 통신 시스템의 전송 안테나들에 의해 전송되는, 데이터 레이트 할당 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스트림들은 또한 공간-시간 블록 코드(space-time block code)에 의해 코딩되고 그 후 상기 통신 시스템의 전송 안테나들에 의해 전송되는, 데이터 레이트 할당 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스트림들은 상기 스트림들에 의해 보여지는 바와 같은 채널 매트릭스를 HG로 효율적으로 바꾸어 전송하기 전에 매트릭스 G를 통과하고, 여기서 G는 상기 채널이 더 높은 데이터 레이트들을 다룰 수 있도록 선택된 미리 규정된 매트릭스인, 데이터 레이트 할당 방법.
