- (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템으로서, N은 2의 S 거듭제곱이며,(N-1)/N 프리스케일러;상기 프리스케일러에 접속된 기준 입력 라인;상기 프리스케일러에 접속된 (N-1)분주(divide-by-(N-1)) 입력 라인; 및카운터에 접속된 프리스케일러 출력 라인을 포함하고,상기 카운터는,한 세트의 이진 라인을 수신하기 위한 비율 입력 라인;S개의 최하위 이진 라인에 접속된 제1 카운터; 및나머지 이진 라인에 접속된 제2 카운터를 더 포함하고,상기 제1 및 제2 카운터는 상기 제1 카운터가 주기적인 (N-1)분주 신호를 생성할 수 있도록 동작가능하게 연결되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 비율 입력 라인은 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 예외 회로는 상기 비율 라인이 상기 카운터들이 자연해(natural solution)를 제공할 수 없는 비율을 가질 때를 검출하도록 구성되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 10에 있어서,상기 제1 카운터는 상기 예외 회로에 접속되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 S는 3이고, 상기 N은 8이고, 상기 (N-1)은 7인 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 12에 있어서,상기 비율 입력 라인은 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 예외 회로는 상기 비율 라인이 48의 비율을 가질 때를 검출하도록 구성되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 13에 있어서,상기 제1 카운터는 상기 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 비율이 48로 설정되는 경우 상기 예외 회로는 상기 제1 카운터가 7분주 신호를 생성하지 않도록 하는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 S는 2이고, 상기 N은 4이고, 상기 (N-1)은 3인 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 15에 있어서,상기 비율 입력 라인은 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 예외 회로는 상기 비율 라인이 8의 비율을 가질 때를 검출하도록 구성되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 16에 있어서,상기 제1 카운터는 상기 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 비율이 8로 설정되는 경우 상기 예외 회로는 상기 제1 카운터가 3분주 신호를 생성하지 않도록 하는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 S는 4이고, 상기 N은 16이고, 상기 (N-1)은 15인 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 18에 있어서,상기 비율 입력 라인은 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 예외 회로는 상기 비율 라인이 224의 비율을 가질 때를 검출하도록 구성되는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
- 청구항 19에 있어서,상기 제1 카운터는 상기 예외 회로에 접속되고, 상기 비율이 224로 설정되는 경우 상기 예외 회로는 상기 제1 카운터가 15분주 신호를 생성하지 않도록 하는 것인 (N-1)/N 프리스케일러 시스템.
