Claims (16)
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능할 때, 이미지 프레임들의 독자적 시퀀스를 구비하는 비디오 시퀀스를 인코딩하는 방법에 있어서,적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 포함되는 상기 독자적 시퀀스 가운데, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초 이미지 프레임이 되는 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 비디오 시퀀스 안에 부호화하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 인코딩 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 표시를 슬라이스(slice)의 헤더 내에 포함된 별도의 플래그(flag)로서 비디오 시퀀스 안에 부호화하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 인코딩 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,넘버링(numbering) 체계에 따라 이미지 프레임들의 식별 값들을 부호화하는 단계; 및독자적 시퀀스 중 상기 표시된 최초 이미지 프레임의 식별 값을 리셋시키는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 인코딩 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 비디오 시퀀스 안에 상기 독자적 시퀀스의 한 식별 값을 부호화하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 인코딩 방법.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능할 때, 이미지 프레임들의 독자적 시퀀스를 구비하는 비디오 시퀀스를 인코딩하는 비디오 인코더에 있어서,적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 포함되는 상기 독자적 시퀀스 가운데, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초 이미지 프레임이 되는 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 비디오 시퀀스 안에 부호화하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 인코더.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 표시를 슬라이스(slice)의 헤더 내에 포함된 별도의 플래그(flag)로서 비디오 시퀀스 안에 부호화하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 인코더.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서,넘버링(numbering) 체계에 따라 이미지 프레임들의 식별 값들을 부호화하고;독자적 시퀀스 중 상기 표시된 최초 이미지 프레임의 식별 값을 리셋시키도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 인코더.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서,상기 비디오 시퀀스 안에 상기 독자적 시퀀스의 한 식별 값을 부호화하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 인코더.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능할 때, 이미지 프레임들의 독자적 시퀀스를 구비하는 비디오 시퀀스를 인코딩하기 위한 것으로서, 데이터 처리 장치에 의해 실행되는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 포함하는 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장매체에 있어서,상기 컴퓨터 프로그램은,적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 포함되는 상기 독자적 시퀀스 가운데, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초 이미지 프레임이 되는 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 비디오 시퀀스 안에 부호화하도록 하는 컴퓨터 프로그램 코드를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장매체.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능한, 압축된 한 비디오 시퀀스를 디코딩하는 방법에 있어서,상기 비디오 시퀀스로부터, 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임을 포함하는 독자적 시퀀스 중, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초의 이미지 프레임인 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 복호화하는 단계; 및상기 독자적 시퀀스의 상기 최초 이미지 프레임부터 비디오 시퀀스의 복호화를 시작함으로써, 비디오 시퀀스가 상기 최초 이미지 프레임 이전에 복호화된 이미지 프레임으로부터의 예측 없이 복호화될 수 있게 하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 디코딩 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 표시는 슬라이스의 헤더 안에 포함되는 별도의 플래그임을 특징으로 하는 디코딩 방법.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서,넘버링 체계에 따라 이미지 프레임들의 식별 값들을 복호화하는 단계; 및독자적 시퀀스 가운데 상기 표시된 최초 이미지 프레임의 식별 값을 리셋시키는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 디코딩 방법.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능한, 압축된 한 비디오 시퀀스를 디코딩하는 비디오 디코더에 있어서,상기 비디오 시퀀스로부터, 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임을 포함하는 독자적 시퀀스 중, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초의 이미지 프레임인 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 복호화하고;상기 독자적 시퀀스의 상기 최초 이미지 프레임부터 비디오 시퀀스의 복호화 를 시작함으로써, 비디오 시퀀스가 상기 최초 이미지 프레임 이전에 복호화된 이미지 프레임으로부터의 예측 없이 복호화될 수 있도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 디코더.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능한, 압축된 한 비디오 시퀀스를 디코딩하기 위해, 데이터 처리 장치에 의해 실행되는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 포함하는 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장매체에 있어서,상기 컴퓨터 프로그램은,상기 비디오 시퀀스로부터, 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임을 포함하는 독자적 시퀀스 중, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초의 이미지 프레임인 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 복호화하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램 코드; 및상기 독자적 시퀀스의 상기 최초 이미지 프레임부터 비디오 시퀀스의 복호화를 시작함으로써, 비디오 시퀀스가 상기 최초 이미지 프레임 이전에 복호화된 이미지 프레임으로부터의 예측 없이 복호화될 수 있도록 하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램 코드를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장매체.
- 디코딩 순서에 있어 이전 기준 이미지 프레임보다 앞선 적어도 한 이전 이미지 프레임으로부터 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 예측 가능할 때, 이미지 프레임들의 독자적 시퀀스를 구비하는 압축 비디오 시퀀스를 포함하는 비디오 신호를 형성하는 장치에 있어서,상기 비디오 신호에, 적어도 한 기준 이미지 프레임이 포함되는 상기 독자적 시퀀스 가운데, 디코딩 순서에 있어 최초 이미지 프레임이 되는 적어도 한 이미지 프레임의 표시를 포함시키는 수단을 구비함을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 비디오 신호는 상기 독자적 시퀀스의 식별 값을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 장치.
