Description
Claims (28)
- 무선 장치로서,무선 네트워크로부터 패킷을 수신하도록 동작하는 프로세서; 및상기 수신된 패킷이 무선 네트워크로부터 요청되지 않은 원하지 않는(unsolicited) 패킷인지 여부를 결정하고, 휴지(dormant) 상태로부터의 상기 무선 장치의 재활성(reactivation)이 원하지 않은 패킷에 기인하였다면 감소된 값이 상기 무선 장치로 하여금 조기에 휴지 상태로 진입하도록 허용하기 위해 상기 수신된 패킷이 원하는 않는 패킷으로 간주되는 경우에 미리 결정된 시간 기간 동안 비활성 타이머에 대하여 상기 감소된 값을 사용하고, 상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간 후에 상기 비활성 타이머에 대하여 공칭(nominal) 값을 사용하도록 동작하는 제어기를 포함하며,상기 비활성 타이머는 임의의 데이터를 교환함이 없이 활성(active) 상태로 상기 무선 장치를 유지하기 위한 시간량을 결정하는, 무선 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제어기는 상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간 동안 수신된 각각의 패킷에 대하여 상기 비활성 타이머를 상기 감소된 값으로 리셋하도록 동작하는, 무선 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제어기는 상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간 이후에 수신된 각각의 패킷에 대하여 상기 비활성 타이머를 상기 공칭 값으로 리셋하도록 동작하는, 무선 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간은 상기 감소된 값 또는 상기 공칭 값과 동일한, 무선 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제어기는 상기 비활성 타이머의 종료시 휴지 상태로의 전이를 개시하도록 동작하는, 무선 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 감소된 값은 조절가능한, 무선 장치.
- 수신된 패킷이 무선 네트워크로부터 요청되지 않은 원하지 않는 패킷인지 여부를 결정하는 단계;상기 수신된 패킷이 원하지 않는 패킷으로 간주되는 경우에 비활성 타이머에 대하여 감소된 값을 사용하는 단계 - 상기 감소된 값은 미리 결정된 시간 기간 동안 사용됨 -; 및상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간 후에 상기 비활성 타이머에 대하여 공칭 값을 사용하는 단계를 포함하는 방법으로서,상기 비활성 타이머는 임의의 데이터를 교환함이 없이 활성 상태로 무선 장치를 유지하기 위한 시간량을 결정하는, 방법.
