- 송신 메일 서버들(102a)로부터 수신 메일 서버들(102c)로의 전자 메시지들(110)의 전송 관리시 컴퓨터 프로세스에 사용하기 위한 메시지 트래픽 관리 시스템으로서, 상기 송신 메일 서버들(102a)로부터 송신된 메시지들(110)은 상기 송신 메일 서버들(102a)과 연관된 소스 데이터 및 상기 수신 메일 서버들(102c)과 연관된 목적지 데이터를 포함하는, 상기 메시지 트래픽 관리 시스템에 있어서,복수의 인입 전자 메시지들(110)에 대한 상기 소스 데이터를 저장하는 데이터 구조(504)를 갖는 트래픽 모니터(340); 및상기 데이터 구조(504)에 결합되어, 상기 컴퓨터 프로세스와 연관된 프로그램 스레드들(332)에 의해 결정되는 메타데이터를 상기 소스 데이터에 보충하고 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110)과 연관된 특징들을 분석하는 것을 가능하게 하고, 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110)의 처리시에 사용하기 위해 상기 소스 데이터 및 상기 메타데이터에 대한 액세스를 가능하게 하도록 구성되는 해석기 프로세스(350)를 포함하는, 메시지 트래픽 관리 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 해석기 프로세스(350)는 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110)을 처리하는 처리 명령들(710e)의 생성시에 사용하기 위해 상기 소스 데이터 및 상기 메타데이터에 대한 액세스를 가능하게 하도록 구성되고, 상기 메시지들(110)의 처리는 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110) 중 적어도 하나가 도착할 때 SMTP 접속들 중 적어도 하나를 조절(throttling)하는 것을 포함하는, 메시지 트래픽 관리 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 해석기 프로세스(350)는 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110)을 처리하는 처리 명령들(710e)의 생성시에 사용하기 위해 상기 소스 데이터 및 상기 메타데이터에 대한 액세스를 가능하게 하도록 구성되고, 상기 메시지들(110)의 처리는 상기 복수의 전자 메시지들(110) 중 적어도 하나의 전달을 지연하는 것을 포함하는, 메시지 트래픽 관리 시스템.
