- 온도센서로 기중차단기의 온도를 검출하는 적어도 하나 이상의 온도 검출부;상기 온도 검출부가 검출한 온도를 미리 설정된 기준온도와 비교하여 기중차단기의 오동작 가능성 여부를 판단하는 MCU(Micro Controller Unit);상기 판단 결과 상기 기준차단기의 오동작 가능성이 있을 경우에 상기 MCU의 제어에 따라, 부하로 공급하는 전력을 차단하는 트립코일;기중차단기를 통해 부하로 공급되는 전류를 검출하여 전압으로 변환하는 전압 검출부; 및상기 전압 검출부의 검출전압을 정류하여 상기 MCU로 입력시키는 정류기를 포함하고,상기 MCU는;상기 정류기의 출력전압을 미리 설정된 기준전압과 비교하여 사고의 발생여부를 판단하고, 사고의 발생이 판단될 경우에 상기 트립코일을 구동시키게 구성된 기중차단기의 보호장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 정류기와 상기 MCU의 사이에;상기 정류기의 출력전압을 디지털 신호로 변환하여 상기 MCU로 입력시키는 아날로그/디지털 변환기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기중차단기의 보호장치.
