Claims (3)
- 소정 간격으로 대향 배치되며, 각각 액정 구동전극을 구비한 상,하부기판;상기 기판들 사이에 배치되며, 액정분자들이 제1크기의 액정 방울에 둘러싸여 고분자 물질 내에 분산되어 이루어지면서 상기 액정 방울 내의 액정분자들이 수평 배향된 1차 고분자 분산 액정 필름;상기 1차 고분자 분산 액정 필름과 상부기판 사이에 배치되며, 액정분자들이 제1크기 보다 큰 제2크기의 액정 방울에 둘러싸여 고분자 물질 내에 분산되어 이루어진 2차 고분자 분산 액정 필름;상기 하부기판의 아래에 배치된 백라이트; 및상기 백라이트의 아래에 배치되어 상기 백라이트로부터 나온 빛을 반사시키는 반사판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 고분자 분산 액정 필름은 제1크기의 액정 방울들의 그룹들 사이에 상기 제1크기 보다 작은 제3크기를 가지면서 액정분자들을 둘러싼 액정 방울들이 분산되어진 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 하부기판과 백라이트 사이에 적층 배치된 콜레스테릭액정(Choresteric liquid crystal)층과 λ/4의 위상차판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산 액정표시장치.
