Claims (8)
- 서로 일정간격 이격되게 배치된 제 1, 2 기판과, 상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에 개재된 액정층을 가지는 액정패널과, 상기 액정패널의 하부에 위치하는 백라이트를 포함하며, 상기 백라이트에서 공급되는 빛을 광원으로 이용하는 투과부와, 외부로부터 유입되는 빛을 반사광으로 이용하는 반사부를 포함하는 화소 영역이 정의된 반사투과형 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판 상의 투과부와 대응되는 영역에서 제 1 투과홀을 가지며, 상기 액정층의 두께로 정의되는 셀갭을 반사부와 투과부간에 다르게 구성하기 위한 단차구조를 가지는 버퍼층과;상기 버퍼층 상부에 형성된 게이트 전극과;상기 게이트 전극 상부에 형성된 반도체층과 ;상기 반도체층 상부에서 서로 일정간격 이격되게 위치하며, 적어도 이중층 금속물질로 이루어지고, 최상부층 금속물질이 반사특성을 가지는 금속물질에서 선택되는 소스 및 드레인 전극과;상기 소스 및 드레인 전극과 동일한 물질로 이루어지며, 상기 화소 영역에 위치하고, 상기 제 1 투과홀과 대응되는 제 2 투과홀을 가지는 반사층과;상기 소스 및 드레인 전극과, 반사층을 덮는 기판 전면에 위치하며, 상기 제 2 투과홀과 대응되는 제 3 투과홀을 가지는 보호층과;상기 드레인 전극과 연결되어 반사층 및 제 1 내지 3 투과홀을 덮는 영역에 형성된 투과 전극과;상기 제 2 기판 하부에 형성된 컬러필터와;상기 컬러필터 하부에 형성된 공통 전극을 포함하며, 상기 투과홀을 통해 상기 백라이트 빛을 투과시키는 영역은 투과부를 이루고, 상기 반사층과 대응된 영역은 반사부를 이루며, 상기 반사층과 대응된 위치의 투과 전극 윗면이, 상기 투과홀과 대응된 위치의 투과 전극 윗면보다 높게 위치하는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 반사특성을 가지는 금속물질은 알루미늄(Al)을 포함하는 금속물질에서 선택되는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 금속물질은 알루미늄네오디뮴(AlNd)인 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전극과 반도체층 사이에는 게이트 절연막이 위치하며, 상기 게 이트 절연막은 상기 제 1 투과홀과 대응된 위치에서 투과홀을 가지는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통 전극 및 투과 전극을 이루는 물질은 투명 도전성 물질에서 선택되는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 보호층에는 상기 드레인 전극을 일부 노출시키는 드레인 콘택홀이 형성되어 있으며, 상기 투과 전극은 상기 드레인 콘택홀을 통해 드레인 전극과 연결되는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 버퍼층이 이루는 단차는, 상기 투과부 셀갭이 반사부 셀갭보다 2배 수준으로 큰값을 가지도록 하는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 반사층은 이웃하는 드레인 전극과 일정간격 이격되게 위치하는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
