Abstract

A food waste treatment apparatus is provided to oxidize food waste by heating food waste directly with hydrogen flame utilizing hydrogen gas obtained from electrolysis of condensed water extracted from gas generated during carbonization of food waste, to reduce operating cost and installation cost by making the apparatus smaller and simpler, to eliminate a purification device by eliminating most of contaminants through reduction process, to generate oxygen to remove odor, and to convert food waste into reusable carbides such as deodorants, soil conditioners, active carbons, agents for adjusting moisture contents, and others.
