BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a vehicle brake, and more particularly, to a vehicle brake having a wedge member which is moved toward the rotational direction of the disk by a drive device and presses the friction pad against the disk.

In general, a vehicle disc brake is a device that obtains a braking force by pressing a portion of a disk-shaped disk that rotates with the wheel with friction pads on both sides, and during such a vehicle disc brake, the disc that rotates with the wheel of the vehicle and friction with both sides of the disc And a friction pad for generating a braking force, any one friction pad is attached to one surface, and a rear surface of an end portion located at the rotational side of the disk to be inclined with respect to the disk to form a wedge shape, and the wedge member of the disk. And a drive device for moving forward and backward in the rotational direction, and a guide member formed to be inclined to correspond to the rear surface of the wedge member and allowing the wedge member to be bitten between the disc and the wedge member so as to be clamped between the disc and the guide member. By doing so, you can get great braking force with less power. One vehicle has disc brakes. That is, the disc brake using the wedge member converts the rotational force of the drive device into a linear force, and again brakes the vehicle using the linear force and the wedge to brake the kinetic energy of the disc rotating by the wedge effect during braking. Since it is used as energy, the vehicle can be stopped with a small force of the driving device.

In such a conventional disc brake for a vehicle, when the wedge member is pressed using a power conversion member that converts the rotational movement of the drive device into a linear motion, the friction pad is bitten by the disc. This results in a great braking force.

However, since the rotation shaft of the drive device of the conventional disc brake for a vehicle is short, the displacement of the power transmission member moving forward and backward of the rotation shaft becomes small. Therefore, when the wear of the friction pad is severe, since the forward of the power transmission member is limited, the friction pad is difficult to rub against the disk, which makes it difficult to exert a braking force. In addition, since the power transmission member advances the wedge member while the guide member is fixed, the gap between the guide member and the wedge member increases as the wear increases, so that the friction member with the wedge member attached to the disc moves in the rotational direction of the disc during braking. The amount to do is increased. Therefore, the pressing position of the friction member is different on both sides, there is a problem that the braking force is lowered.

The present invention is to solve the above problems of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a disc brake of a vehicle that can exhibit a constant braking ability even when the friction member is worn.

As a device for obtaining a caliper housing, a pair of friction pads 20a and 20b are disposed opposite to each other, and the caliper housing 30 is fixed to a knuckle portion (not shown) of the vehicle. It includes a carrier 40 that can be installed to move forward and backward.

In order to allow the caliper housing 30 to be installed in the carrier 40 so that the carrier 40 can be moved forward and backward, a pair of guide rods 31 are installed in the carrier 40 so that the caliper housing 30 can be moved forward and backward. It is fixed through a fastening member such as a screw, and the guide hole 41 is provided on both sides of the carrier 40 so that the guide rod 31 can be moved forward and backward.

In addition, the vehicle disk brake according to the present invention has a wedge member 50 having one surface attached to the friction pad 20a and the other surface being inclined with respect to the disk 10, and the wedge surface 51 of the wedge member 50. The wedge receiving member 60 is formed to be inclined to correspond to the wedge member 50 to increase the braking force, and the driving device 70 moves the friction pad 20a to the disk 10 side.

The other side of the caliper housing 30 is provided with a finger portion 32 is provided with another friction pad 20b. In the present embodiment, the friction pad 20a, which is installed on the wedge member 50 among the two friction pads 20a and 20b and moves together with the wedge member 50, is referred to as a movable friction pad 20a. The friction pad 20b provided in the) is called a fixed friction pad 20b.

The movable friction pad 20a provided on the front surface of the wedge member 50 is disposed in parallel with the side surface of the disk 10 so as to be in uniform contact with one side of the disk 10, and the wedge member 50 The rear surface of the plurality of wedge surface 51 is formed to be inclined at a predetermined angle toward the disk 10 is formed. In addition, the first seating portion 52 is formed at the central side of the wedge surface 51 to accommodate one side of the first power transmission member 90 to be described later. The first seating portion 52 is formed to be recessed downward with respect to the wedge surface 51 in a substantially rectangular shape so that the first power transmission member 90 can be inserted therein.

In addition, the wedge receiving member 60 is provided at the rear of the wedge member 50 so that the front surface thereof corresponds to the wedge surface 51 of the wedge member 50 so as to support the wedge surface 51 of the wedge member 50. The inclined surface 64 is formed.

In the present embodiment, the wedge surface 51 of the wedge member 50 is formed to be inclined toward the front side so as to be symmetrical to both sides about the center side thereof, and the front side of the wedge receiving member 60 has its center side concave to the rear side. At this time, the through hole 61 is formed at the central side of the wedge receiving member 60 so that the rotation shaft 71 of the driving motor 70 penetrates and protrudes. Therefore, the wedge member has a longer displacement than the wedge receiving member without a conventional through hole, so that even when the friction pad 20a is severely worn, the braking force can be exerted by advancing the wedge member 50.

In addition, the vehicular disk brake of the present invention includes a driving device 70 that exerts a driving force for advancing and moving the movable friction pad 20a to the disk 10 side.

A female screw portion 91 is formed at the center of the first power transmission member 90 so that the rotation shaft 71 can be coupled, and the first power transmission member 90 is rotated by the driving motor 71. Retractable in the stomach.

The wedge member 50 provided adjacent to the first power transmission member 90 is provided with a first seating portion 52 for inserting the front side of the first power transmission member 90, and the wedge receiving member 60. ) Is provided with a second seating portion 62 for inserting the rear side of the first power transmission member 90. Therefore, the first power transmission member 90 is inserted into the space formed between the first seating portion 52 and the second seating portion 62 to form the wedge surface 51 and the wedge receiving member 60 of the wedge member 50. The inclined surface 64 of the contact is to increase the braking force.

One side of the second power transmission member 80 is provided to be adjacent to the front of the drive device 70 and the other side is provided to contact the rear surface of the wedge receiving member (60).

In addition, between the drive device 70 and the wedge member 50, the wedge receiving member 60 is moved in the rotational direction of the disc 10 through the wedge member 50 during friction between the movable friction pad 20a and the disc 10. Guide member 100 is provided to prevent the flow. The guide member 100 is to prevent the force transmitted to the wedge receiving member 60 from being transmitted to the power transmission member 80 provided with the rotating shaft 71. In this embodiment, the guide member 100 is a wedge member ( 50 is opened to the side, both ends of the wedge receiving member 60 is guided by the guide member 100 to be able to move forward and backward.

Reference numeral 110 denotes a power transmission member 80, 90, a wedge member 50, and a wedge receiving member 60 to cover the power transmission member 80, 90 and the wedge member 50 with the caliper housing 30. The cover 110 to maintain the state installed in.

Next, the operation of the vehicular disk brake according to the present invention will be described.

When the braking starts, the rotation shaft 71 rotates by the driving force of the driving device 70, and the first and second power transmission members 80 and 90 provided on the rotation shaft 71 make linear movement with respect to the rotation shaft 71. do. At this time, the rotation torque is converted into a force in a linear direction, the first power transmission member 90 is pushed the wedge member 60 toward the disk 10 side movable friction pad integrally formed with the wedge member 50 ( 20a contacts the disk 10.

At this time, a friction force is generated between the movable friction pad 20a and the disk 10, and by this friction, the wedge member 50 is pressed against the wedge receiving member 60, and the wedge surface 51 is thereafter. Along the slope movement. At this time, due to the wedge effect, a large force generated enough to brake the inclined surfaces of the wedge member 50 and the wedge receiving member 60 is generated. That is, it is amplified by a force large enough to stop the vehicle with the help of the wedge member 50 with a small force of the drive device 70. Here, when the friction coefficient between the friction pad 20a and the disk 10 is smaller than the tan value of the inclination angle of the wedge surface 51, the friction pad 20a automatically rolls back when braking is completed. The gap between the friction pad 20a and the disk 10 is automatically adjusted by the rollback.

In addition, when the movable friction pad 20a compresses the disk 10, a reaction force acts in a direction opposite to that in which the movable friction pad 20a is pressed, and the wedge receiving member 60 is pushed toward the driving motor 72 by this reaction force. At this time, the second power transmission member 80 maintains the wedge effect by supporting the rear surface of the wedge receiving member 60 so that the wedge receiving member 60 is not pushed toward the driving motor 72.

In addition, in the disc brake for a vehicle according to the present invention, the wedge accommodating member 60 and the wedge member 50 move almost integrally so that a section in which the brake is not braked when the vehicle is braked backward or after forward braking does not occur. When the braking, the movable friction pad 20a is minimized in the rotational direction of the disk 10, and the movable friction pad 20a and the fixed friction pad 20a are compressed at almost the same position. . In addition, by using the characteristics of the general caliper as it is, the friction force acting when the movable friction pad 20a compresses the disk 10 acts on the caliper housing 30, so that the caliper housing 30 uses the fixed friction pad 20a. Push to compress the opposite side of the disk (10).

In addition, the disc brake for a vehicle according to the present invention, as shown in Figure 3, the rotation shaft 71 of the drive device 70 passes through the through-hole 61 of the wedge receiving member 60 is provided relatively longer than the prior art Therefore, even when the wear of the friction pad 20a is severe, the first power transmission member 90 pushes the wedge member 50 by the amount of wear, so that the wedge member 50 moves forward to reduce the wear of the friction pad 20a. It is possible to compensate and thus exhibit a certain degree of braking force despite the wear of the friction pad 20a.

In addition, during parking, the wedge member 50 is pushed until the disk 10 is compressed, and then the parking function is maintained by maintaining the state.

As described in detail above, the vehicle disc brake according to the present invention can improve the braking force by the first power transmission member to advance and retract the wedge member and the second power transmission member to support the wedge receiving member and penetrate the wedge receiving member. By forming a hole and advancing the rotating shaft to the through hole, the braking force can be exhibited to a certain degree even when the friction pad is worn, and the compact configuration is possible.
