Claims (12)
- 평탄한 상면과 경사진 하면을 갖는 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판;상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 측면에 구비되는 램프 및 램프 하우징;상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 하면에 형성되는 산란 패턴;상기 산란 패턴이 형성된 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 하면에 구비되는 반사판;상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 상면에 형성되는 박막 트랜지스터;상기 박막 트랜지스터가 형성된 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 드레인 전극 일부를 노출시키는 드레인 콘택홀을 갖는 절연막; 및상기 절연막의 상부에 형성되며, 상기 드레인 콘택홀을 통해 상기 드레인 전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 화소전극을 포함하여 구성되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 절연막은 빛에 대한 편광기능을 갖는 편광절연막인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 램프 하우징은 상기 램프를 감싸는 내면이 빛을 반사시킬 수 있도록 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판은 측면에 구비된 램프로부터 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 두께가 얇아지는 경사진 하면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 산란 패턴은 램프로부터 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 산란 패턴의 크기 및 산란 패턴간 이격거리가 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 절연막의 상부 또는 하부에 광학 시트들이 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.

- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 절연막은 빛에 대한 편광기능을 갖는 편광절연막인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판상에 게이트 전극, 소스 전극 및 드레인 전극을 포함한 박막 트랜지스터를 형성하는 단계;상기 박막 트랜지스터가 형성된 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판상에 편광절연막을 형성하는 단계;상기 편광절연막상에 드레인 전극의 일부를 노출시키는 드레인 콘택홀을 형성하는 단계;상기 드레인 콘택홀을 통해 드레인 전극과 전기적으로 접촉하고, 상기 편광절연막의 상부로 연장되어 형성되는 화소전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 하면을 경사지게 형성하는 단계;상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 경사진 하면에 산란 패턴을 형성하는 단계;상기 산란 패턴이 형성된 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 하면에 반사판을 부착하는 단계; 및상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 측면에 램프 및 램프 하우징을 구비하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 화소전극을 형성한 다음 상부에 배향막을 형성하고, 러빙을 실시하는 단계를 추가적으로 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 박막 트랜지스터 어레이 기판의 하면을 경사지게 형성하는 단계는 연마(grinding) 또는 건식식각(dry etch)에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 산란 패턴은 상기 램프로부터 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 산란 패턴의 크기 및 산란 패턴간 이격거리가 증가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
