Claims (3)
- 하나 이상의 MDU 셋톱박스로 방송 신호를 분배하는 시스템으로,방송 신호를 수신하는 방송 신호 수신부;상기 방송 신호에 실린 MPTS를 SPTS로 디멀티플렉싱하고, 상기 디멀티플렉싱된 방송 신호를 UDP 통신 프로토콜을 적용하여 패킷화하고, 상기 방송 신호의 각 채널 신호마다 IP 주소를 할당하여 IP 매핑 테이블을 생성한 후 상기 IP 매핑 테이블을 패킷화하여 상기 패킷화된 방송 신호와 함께 멀티캐스트 방식으로 송출하는 MDU 모듈;상기 MDU 모듈과 직접 연결되어 상기 MDU 모듈로부터 패킷 신호를 제공받아 분배하여 송출하는 하나 이상의 L3 스위치;MDU 셋톱박스와 이더넷 망으로 직접 연결되어 상기 L3 스위치로부터 패킷 신호를 제공받아 상기 MDU 셋톱박스로 송출하는 하나 이상의 L2 스위치; 및상기 L2 스위치로부터 패킷 신호를 수신하는 이더넷 포트와, 상기 패킷 신호로부터 IP 매핑 테이블을 추출하고 외부 조작에 의해 방송 채널이 선택되면 상기 IP 매핑 테이블을 참조하여 상기 방송 채널에 대응되는 IP 주소의 신호를 수신하는 IP 매핑 테이블 인식부와, 상기 패킷 신호로부터 방송 신호를 추출하여 엠펙처리 가능한 신호로 변환처리하는 중앙 처리부와, 외부로부터 방송 신호를 직접 수신하는 튜너와, 상기 튜너 및 상기 중앙 처리부로부터 제공받은 신호를 디멀티플렉싱하는 디멀티플렉서와, 상기 디멀티플렉서를 통해 디멀티플렉싱된 방송 신호를 디코딩 하는 디코더와, 상기 디코딩된 A/V 방송 신호를 외부로 출력하는 A/V 출력부를 포함하여 구성되는 MDU 셋톱박스;를 포함하여 구성되는 MDU 방송 신호 분배 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 MDU 모듈은 상기 방송 신호를 분배하여 입력받는 복수 개의 분배 모듈;상기 분배 모듈을 통해 입력된 방송 신호로부터 MPTS를 추출하여 SPTS로 디멀티플렉싱하는 디멀티플렉서와, 상기 디멀티플렉싱된 방송 신호에 UDP 통신 프로토콜을 적용하여 패킷 신호를 생성하는 프로토콜 처리부를 포함하는 TS-to-IP 처리 모듈;상기 TS-to-IP 처리 모듈로부터 생성된 패킷 신호를 멀티캐스트 방식으로 외부 출력하도록 제어하는 제어 모듈; 및상기 L3 스위치와 IP 망으로 연결되어, 상기 패킷 신호를 상기 L3 스위치로 송출하는 스위치 모듈;을 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 MDU 방송 신호 분배 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 L3 스위치는 MDU 셋톱박스로부터 제공된 IGMP 고객 등록 신호를 L2 스 위치를 통해 전송받으면, 상기 MDU 셋톱박스를 목적지로 설정하여 상기 L2 스위치를 거쳐 상기 MDU 셋톱박스로 해당 패킷 신호를 송출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MDU 방송 신호 분배 시스템.
