Claims (11)
- 밀리미터파 대역 응용에 적합한 콤 편파기에 있어서,분리가능하도록 두 개의 반쪽 도파관(Half Waveguide)으로 이루어진 임의의 개구면을 갖는 도파관; 및입사되는 선형 편파 신호를 원형 편파 신호로 변환하기 위하여, 상기 두 개의 반쪽 도파관 사이에 삽입되는 복수의 코그(cog)를 갖는 콤(comb) 형상의 도체부(콤 도체부)를 포함하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 콤 도체부는,상기 두 개의 반쪽 도파관이 접하는 두 접합면 중 어느 하나의 접합면에 삽입될 수 있는 하나의 콤 도체판인 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 콤 도체부는,상기 두 개의 반쪽 도파관이 접하는 두 접합면의 각각에 삽입될 수 있는 두 개의 콤 도체판으로 이루어지되, 상기 두개의 콤 도체판의 코그는 상기 도파관의 중심축을 따라 서로 대칭적으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 콤 도체판은,입/출력 임피던스의 정합을 위하여, 입/출력단으로부터 소정의 길이 범위 내에서 중심위치 쪽으로 갈수록 코그들의 높이가 점차적으로 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 도파관은,정사각형 도파관인 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 도파관은,원형 도파관(Circular Waveguide)인 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 원형 도파관의 반지름 및 상기 콤 도체판의 코그 구조에 따라 동작주파수가 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 콤 원형 편파기가 이중대역 원형 편파기로 동작할 수 있도록, 상기 콤 원형 편파기에 입사되는 선형 편파 신호의 수평성분과 수직성분이 위상차가 90˚가 되게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 콤 편파기를 다른 도파관 부품과 접속하기 위한 입력 및 출력 플랜지를 더 포함하는 콤 편파기.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 반쪽 도파관과 그 사이에 삽입되는 상기 콤 도체판은 체결수단을 통하여 체결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 콤 편파기.
