The present invention relates to a package air conditioner, and more particularly, to a dew condensation preventing structure of a package air conditioner for preventing a phenomenon in which dew forms on a lower portion where cold air is discharged.

Recently, as the tempered glass is used as the exterior part of the package air conditioner, the temperature of the tempered glass is drastically lowered due to the cold wind during the cooling operation of the air conditioner, causing water droplets to form on the surface of the glass.

1 is a front view and a side view showing a state of use of a conventional package air conditioner.

As shown, the air discharge port 12 is formed in the upper portion of the package air conditioner indoor unit 10, the cold air is discharged through the discharge port (12). The cold air discharged at this time necessarily comes into contact with the upper portion of the front panel 15. Therefore, the upper portion of the front panel 15 is cooled by cold air to have a temperature lower than room temperature. Particularly, when the front panel 15 is made of tempered glass material, water droplets are continuously formed in the area A indicated by dotted lines. Flowing down will occur.

This dew condensation had problems such as giving the appearance of impurity to the consumer.

The present invention is to solve the above problems, it is to prevent the dew condensation on the surface of the front panel by reducing the temperature difference between the front panel and the air by heating the front panel of the lower discharge port of the package air conditioner.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a package air conditioner in which cold air is discharged to an outlet of an upper portion of the front surface, wherein the cold air is provided with a heating wire inside an upper portion of the front panel positioned below the discharge hole, and controls a power supply of the heating wire. It provides a dew condensation preventing structure of the package air conditioner, characterized in that for heating the upper portion of the front panel.

It is preferable to further include a temperature measuring sensor for measuring the surface temperature of the front panel, to control whether or not the hot wire power is applied in accordance with the measured temperature of the temperature measuring sensor.

In addition, it is more preferable to further provide a heat insulating material inside the front panel to prevent the front panel from being cooled by cold air inside the front panel.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

2 is a front view of a package air conditioner indoor unit having a dew preventing structure according to the present invention.

As shown, the cold air is discharged toward the front from the discharge port 12 located in the upper portion of the package air conditioner indoor unit 10, wherein the cold air is in contact with the upper portion of the front panel (15). When the front panel 15 is made of a plastic material, since the thermal conductivity of the material itself is low, the surface temperature drop of the front panel 15 is not a big problem due to contact with the cold air discharged from the discharge port 12. In the case of using tempered glass, which has recently increased in use, as the front panel 15, since the material itself has high thermal conductivity, the tempered glass is affected by cold air, resulting in a lowering of the temperature drop. In this case, when high temperature and high humidity air comes into contact with the low temperature tempered glass front panel, dew may form on the front panel 15 surface.

The present invention is to solve this problem, in order to prevent the dew condensation occurs when the indoor air is in contact with the front panel by maintaining the temperature of the front panel 15 at a constant temperature does not form the front panel ( The heating wire 100 is provided inside the upper part of the upper part 15).

3 and 4 are a rear perspective view and a side view of the front panel to which the package air conditioner dew condensation preventing structure according to the present invention is applied.

Dew condensation preventing structure according to the present invention is based on the heating wire 100 is built into the front panel 15 to generate heat, the temperature measuring sensor 105 for measuring the temperature of the front panel, and the measured value of the temperature measuring sensor It comprises a control unit (not shown) for controlling the power supply of the heating wire. When the surface temperature of the front panel 15 rises above a predetermined temperature, the controller cuts off the power supplied to the heating wire 100, and when the surface temperature falls below the predetermined temperature, the control unit operates to supply power to the heating wire 100 again.

As shown, the hot wire 100 of the dew condensation preventing structure according to the present invention is provided on the rear of the upper portion of the front panel 15 in direct contact with the cold. In detail, a separate reinforcing member 110 is attached to the rear surface of the front panel 15 and the heating wire 100 is disposed inside the reinforcing member 15 to heat the front panel 15 by the heating of the heating wire. A predetermined portion of the front panel 15 to be heated is provided with a temperature measuring sensor 105 to measure the temperature of the front panel 15, and the temperature value measured by the temperature measuring sensor 105 is transmitted to the controller. The control unit controls power supply and cutoff to be supplied to the heating wire 100, and supplies power when the front panel is below a predetermined temperature, and cuts off power when the front panel is above a predetermined temperature so that the front panel can maintain a constant temperature range. do. At this time, the temperature range in which the front panel is maintained is set based on the indoor temperature at which the indoor unit is placed.

The temperature measuring sensor 105 is preferably disposed in the upper center of the front panel, because the portion where the most cooling is performed by cold air is the center portion. In addition, it is more preferable to further include a heat insulator 107 on the inner side of the front panel to prevent the front panel from being cooled by the cold air therein.

As described above, the dew condensation preventing structure of the package air conditioner according to the present invention provides a structure that allows the front panel to be cooled to maintain a predetermined temperature or more in order to prevent the dew condensation on the front panel of the indoor unit.

As described above, the dew condensation preventing structure of the package air conditioner according to the present invention has a heating wire inside the tempered glass, which is the finish of the front panel, so that the tempered glass surface can maintain a certain temperature or more, the surface temperature of the tempered glass is There is an effect that can prevent dew condensation caused by the lowering.
