Claims (7)
- 어레이 기판의 화면을 다수의 쇼트로 분할하고, 상기 각 쇼트에 대응되는 노광마스크를 통해 상기 어레이 기판을 반복 노광하여 어레이 기판의 각 층을 형성하는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법에 있어서,상기 쇼트의 경계면이 데이터 라인의 중심에 위치하도록 설정하고 상기 쇼트에 대응되는 노광마스크를 통해 노광하여 기판 상에 게이트 라인 및 게이트 전극을 형성하는 단계와;상기 게이트 라인 및 게이트 전극을 포함한 전면에 게이트 절연막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 쇼트 경계면을 서브 픽셀의 중심에 위치하도록 설정하고 상기 쇼트에 대응되는 노광마스크를 통해 노광하여 상기 게이트 절연막 상에 액티브층을 형성하고, 상기 액티브층 위에 상기 데이터 라인, 소스/ 드레인 전극을 형성하는 단계와;상기 데이터 라인, 소스/ 드레인 전극을 포함한 전면에 보호막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 쇼트의 경계면을 상기 데이터 라인의 중심에 위치하도록 설정하고 상기 쇼트에 대응되는 노광마스크를 통해 노광하여 상기 보호막 상에 공통라인 및 상기 공통라인에서 인출되는 공통전극과 상기 공통전극 사이에 위치한 화소전극을 형성하는 단계가 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 서브 픽셀은 어레이 기판 상에 매트릭스 형태로 구성되어 있으며, 상기 어레이 기판 상에 형성된 다수의 게이트 라인, 공통 라인, 데이터 라인에 의해 둘러싸여 정의됨을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 서브 픽셀은 상기 게이트 전극, 액티브층, 소스/ 드레인 전극으로 이루어진 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 공통 라인에서 분기된 다수의 공통전극과, 상기 박막트랜지스터의 드레인 전극과 전기적으로 연결된 다수의 화소전극으로 구성되며, 상기 다수의 공통전극과 상기 화소전극은 서로 엇갈리게 구성되어 있음을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 쇼트의 경계면을 형성하는 데이터 라인 및 서브 픽셀의 중심은 동일한 서브 픽셀에 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 어레이 기판의 화면을 다수의 쇼트로 분할하고, 상기 각 쇼트에 대응되는 노광마스크를 통해 상기 어레이 기판을 반복 노광하여 어레이 기판의 각 층을 형성하는 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법에 있어서,상기 다수의 쇼트가 연결되는 쇼트의 경계면이 각 층을 형성하는 공정마다 다르게 위치함을 특징으로 하는 하는 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 쇼트의 경계면이 데이터 라인의 중심을 통과하거나, 상기 데이터 라인을 포함하는 서브 픽셀의 중심을 통과하는 위치에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 어레이 기판 제조방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 액정표시장치는 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 어레이 기판 제조방법.
