Claims (4)
- 기판; 단위화소를 한정하는 게이트버스라인 및 데이터버스라인; 상기 게이트버스라인과 평행배열하는 공통버스라인; 상기 게이트버스라인과 데이터버스라인 교부차부에 배치되는 박막트랜지스터; 상호 상하로 대향하도록 배치되어 전계를 형성하는 하부전극 및 상부전극을 포함하여 구성되는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 하부전극은 수개의 플레이트 전극으로 구성되되, 상기 수개의 플레이트 전극은 상기 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결된 제 1플레이트전극과, 제 2플레이트전극은 상기 공통버스라인과 전기적으로 연결된 제 2플레이트전극을 포함하고,상기 상부전극은 수개의 브렌치 전극으로 구성되되, 상기 수개의 브렌치 전극은 상기 제 2플레이트 전극과 전기적으로 연결되지 않은 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결된 제 1브렌치 전극과, 상기 제 1플레이트 전극과 전기적으로 연결되지 않은 공통버스라인과 전기적으로 연결된 제 2브렌치 전극을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제 1플레이트 전극은, 상기 제 2브렌치 전극과 절연막 개재하에 상호 중첩되어 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제 2플레이트 전극은, 상기 제 1브렌치 전극과 절연막 개재하에 상호 중첩되어 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1및 제 2플레이트 전극을 포함한 하부전극은 상기 기판상에 배치되어 있고, 상기 제 1및 제 2브렌치 전극을 포함한 상부전극은 절연막 상에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치.
