Claims (9)
- 복수의 게이트라인 및 데이터라인이 교차되어 복수의 화소가 정의된 액정패널;외부로부터 입력되는 영상 데이터를 아날로그 신호로 변환하여 상기 액정패널에 인가하는 데이터 드라이버;상기 액정패널의 각 화소를 스위칭을 제거하기 위해 액정패널에 게이트 신호를 인가하는 게이트 드라이버;상기 데이터 드라이버와 게이트 드라이버의 동작을 제어하는 제어신호를 생성하여 출력하는 제어부; 및상기 데이터 드라이버에서 아날로그 영상신호로 변환하기 위한 감마전압 신호를 생성하여 상기 데이터 드라이버에 인가하는 감마전압 회로를 구비하며, 상기 감마전압 회로는 복수개의 감마전압 신호를 출력하는 8비트 디지털-아날로그 변환기(DAC)와, 상기 8비트 디지털-아날로그 변환기로부터 출력된 감마전압 신호(Vout)를 인가 받는 정단자(+)와 제1저항(R1)을 통해 접지되는 부단자(-) 및 제2저항(R2)을 통해 상기 부단자(-)와 연결되는 출력단으로 구성되어 상기 디지털-아날로그 변환기로부터 발생된 감마전압 신호를 증폭시킨 후, 증폭된 감마전압 신호를 데이터 드라이버에 인가하는 감마전압 증폭기를 구비하는 액정표시장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 감마전압 증폭기의 출력단에서 출력된 감마전압값은 (1+R2/R1)×Vout(DAC)로 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.

- 구동시스템으로부터 설정된 데이터를 받아 MICOM을 통해 EEPROM에 저장시키는 단계;상기 EEPROM에 저장된 데이터가 MICOM에 의해 8비트 디지털-아날로그 변환기로 입력되는 단계;상기 8비트 디지털-아날로그 변환기를 통해 감마전압 신호를 출력하는 단계;상기 8비트 프로그래머블 디지털-아날로그 변환기로부터 출력된 감마전압을 감마전압 증폭기를 통해 증폭시키는 단계; 및상기 증폭된 감마전압 신호를 데이터 드라이버에 인가하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
