Claims (8)
- 스펙트럼 확산 통신 시스템(spread-spectrum communication system)내에서 데이터 전송을 하기 위한 방법에 있어서,데이터 전송이 이루어질 필요가 있는 지를 판정하는 단계;제1 직교 가변 확산 인수(Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor; OVSF) 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터 전송을 개시하는 단계;데이터 전송이 이전 기간(preceding period of time) 동안 계속되었는지를 판정하여 판정을 생성하는 단계; 및상기 판정에 기초하여 제2 OVSF 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 심볼 반복 속도(symbol-repetition rate)를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터 전송을 개시하는 단계; 및상기 판정에 기초하여 제2 심볼 반복 속도를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 심볼 반복 속도는 저속 데이터 속도 심볼 반복 속도(low-data-rate symbol repetition rate)에 대응하고, 상기 제2 심볼 반복 속도는 고속 데이터 속도 심볼 반복 속도에 대응하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 OVSF 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터 전송을 개시하는 단계는, 저속 데이터 속도 OVSF 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터 전송을 개시하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 판정에 기초하여 상기 제2 OVSF 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터를 전송하는 단계는, 상기 판정에 기초하여 더 고속인 데이터 속도 OVSF 코드에 대응하는 상기 제2 OVSF 코드를 이용하여 상기 통신 시스템내에서 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 스펙트럼 확산 통신 시스템내에서 데이터 전송을 하기 위한 장치에 있어서,데이터 전송이 이전 기간 동안 계속되었다는 판정에 기초하여 반복 속도를 갖는 심볼들을 출력하는 심볼 반복기를 포함하고, 상기 심볼 반복기는 데이터 전송이 상기 이전 기간 동안 계속된 때는 더 저속의 심볼 반복 속도를 이용하고, 상기 심볼 반복기는 데이터 전송이 상기 이전 기간 동안 계속되지 않은 때는 더 고속의 심볼 반복 속도를 이용하는 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 판정에 기초하여 길이를 갖는 직교 가변 확산 인수(OVSF) 코드를 출력하는 직교 인코더(orthogonal encoder)를 더 포함하는 장치.
