Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a high-strength concrete composition, which uses aggregate recycled from waste utility poles to prevent the extravagance of resources and the exhaust of natural aggregate resources. CONSTITUTION: The high-strength concrete composition incorporated with an aggregate recycled from waste utility poles is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: crushing waste utility poles and screening the crushed material with a sieve having a size of 5 mm to remove micropowders to obtain recycled aggregate; adding water to the recycled aggregate to absorb water to the inside of the aggregate; and compounding a concrete composition in a ratio of 30-40 wt% of cement and 38-50 volume% of fine aggregates with a unit weight of 160-200 kg/m¬3. The concrete composition has a compression strength of 500 kgf/cm¬2 or more.
