Claims (3)
- 전극 및 절연층이 형성된 상·하부 기판을 접착하고, 그 사이에 액정을 주입 밀봉하여 얻어지는 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 하부 기판 상에 실장되는 구동 칩과, 상기 구동 칩의 둘레로 일정 간격을 유지하면서 감싸도록 상기 상부 기판의 일부를 절취하여 형성한 요부와, 상기 구동 칩의 둘레와 요부의 사이에 채워지는 실란트를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 상·하부 기판은 플라스틱인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 실란트는 실리콘 및 수지 중에서 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
