Abstract

본 발명은 전기선로상에 과전류나 단락사고 전류가 발생하였을 때 전로(電路)를 차단시켜 부하측 단자에 연결된 전선이나 전기기기를 보호하는 역할을 하는 회로 차단기에 관한 것으로, 과전류나 단락사고 전류를 검출하는 트립검출 장치의 구조를 개선하여 종래 장치에 비해 동일한 조건하에서의 순시 전류값이 커지게 하고 이에 따라 사용자가 순시동작의 선택범위를 다양하게 할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
본 발명은 단락사고 전류 발생시 기자력이 유기되어 흡인력을 발생시키는 픽싱코어와, 상기 픽싱코어에 흡인력이 발생될 때 픽싱코어측으로 흡인되면서 개폐기구부를 해지시키는 자성체인 아마튜어를 구비한 회로 차단기의 트립 검출기구에 있어서, 상기 픽싱코어에 대한 아마튜어의 흡인력이 증대되도록 자속의 수를 증가시키는 절곡된 형상의 보조돌기부를 상기 아마튜어에 일체로 형성한 회로 차단기의 트립 검출 장치이다.

Description

회로 차단기의 트립 검출 장치
본 발명은 전기 선로상에 과전류나 단락사고 전류가 발생하였을 때 이상전류를 검출하여 전로(電路)를 차단시킴으로서 부하측 단자에 연결된 전선이나 전기기기를 보호하는 역할을 하는 회로 차단기에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 과전류나 단락 사고 전류를 검출하여 회로를 차단시켜 주는 트립(Trip) 검출장치에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 회로 차단기는 모든 부품들을 수납하여 지지고정하고 주통전부의 절연을 유지시키는 케이스 및 커버와, 상기 케이스의 일측에 고정된 부하측 단자 및 반대측에 고정된 전원측 단자와, 상기 부하측 단자와 전원측 단자를 전기적으로 연결시키거나 분리시켜 전로를 온,오프하는 개폐기구부와, 과전류나 단락사고 전류가 발생할 때 이를 검출하여 개폐기구부를 트립시키는 검출기구부와, 단자의 접점 개폐시 발생하는 아크(Arc)를 소멸시켜주는 소호부등으로 구성되어 있다.
따라서 전기선로상에 이상 전류가 흐르면 검출기구부에서 이를 검출하여 트립작동을 하게 되고 개폐기구부에 의해 전원측 단자와 부하측 단자 사이의 전로가 차단된다.
도 1은 종래 회로 차단기의 트립 검출기구부를 나타낸 구성도로서 종래 트립 검출장치는 과전류 발생시 시연동작을 하는 바이메탈(1)과, 트립 기구부와 개폐기구부를 연결해주고 과전류 발생시 상기 바이메탈에 열을 전달하는 히터(2)와, 단락사고 전류 발생시 기자력이 유기되어 흡인력을 발생하는 픽싱코어(Fixing Core)(3)와, 단락사고 전류 발생시 픽싱코어측으로 흡인되면서 개폐기구부를 해지시켜주는 자성체인 아마튜어(Amature)(4)와, 상기 히터와 부하측 단자대를 연결시켜주는 콘덕터(6) 및 터미널 플레이트(5)와, 시연동작 시간을 조절해 주는 조정나사(7)로 구성되어 있다.
상기와 같은 트립 검출기구는 순시동작이 발생할 정도의 과부하가 발생하면 개폐기구부를 통과한 과부하 전류에 의해 픽싱코어(3)에 자기 유도 현상이 발생하여 아마튜어(4)가 픽싱코어(3) 측으로 흡인되는데, 이때 아마튜어(4)가 흡인되는 시점은 픽싱코어(3)에 유도되는 자장의 세기에 의해 영향을 받는다.
도 2는 종래 장치에 적용된 아마튜어의 사시도로서, 이러한 형상의 아마튜어(4)는 자속의 증가를 위한 아무런 구조가 없기 때문에 흡인력을 증가시키기 위해서는 픽싱코어(3)의 자장의 세기를 크게할 수 밖에 없었다.
따라서 기기가 대형화되고 기기의 소형화를 위해 아마튜어(4)의 흡인력을 충분히 크게 하지 못하는 경우에는 과부하가 발생하여도 트립 검출기구가 개폐 기구부를 해지하지 못하여 오동작을 일으키게 되며, 또한 사용자들의 순시 동작 범위의 선택에 제한을 주게 되는 결점이 있다.
본 발명의 목적은 아마튜어의 구조를 개선하여 픽싱코어에 유도되는 자장의 발생량이 동일한 경우 종래 장치에 비해 흡인력이 증대될 수 있는 회로 차단기의 트립 검출장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 실시예에 따라 단락사고 전류 발생시 기자력이 유기되어 흡인력을 발생시키는 픽싱코어와, 상기 픽싱코어에 흡인력이 발생될 때 픽싱코어 측으로 흡인되면서 개폐기구부를 해지시키는 자성체인 아마튜어를 구비한 회로 차단기의 트립 검출기구에 있어서, 상기 픽싱 코어에 대한 아마튜어의 흡인력이 증대되도록 자속의 수를 증가시키는 절곡된 형상의 보조 돌기부를 상기 아마튜어에 일체로 형성한 회로 차단기의 트립 검출 장치가 제공된다.

도 3은 본 발명에 따른 회로 차단기의 트립 검출장치를 나타낸 구성도이고, 도 4는 아마튜어의 사시도이다.
본 발명 장치에서 과전류 발생시 시연동작을 하는 바이메탈(1)과, 과전류 발생시 상기 바이메탈에 열을 전달하는 히터(2)와, 단락사고 전류 발생시 기자력이 유기되어 흡인력을 발생하는 픽싱코어(3)와, 단락사고 전류 발생시 픽싱코어측으로 흡인되면서 개폐기구부를 해지시켜주는 아마튜어(4)와, 상기 히터와 부하측 단자대를 연결시켜주는 콘덕터(6) 및 터미널 플레이트(5)와 ,시연동작 시간을 조절해주는 조정나사(7)등의 기본적 구성요소는 종래 장치와 같다.
상기 아마튜어(4)의 회전지점의 하단부에는 절곡된 형상의 보조 돌기부(4a)가 형성되어 있다.
상기와 같이 된 본 발명의 트립 검출 장치는 과부하 전류가 발생하면 그 전류에 의해 픽싱코어(3)에 자속이 생기고 이 자속이 유도작용에 의해 아마튜어(4)를 끌어당기는 흡인력으로 전달되어 아마튜어(4)가 회전운동을 하면서 픽싱코어(3)에 흡인되는데, 본 발명 장치에 적용된 아마튜어(4)에는 절곡된 형상의 보조 돌기부(4a)가 형성되어 상기 보조 돌기부(4a)에 의해 단위 면적당 유도되는 자속의 수가 증대되므로 결국 픽싱코어(3)와 아마튜어(4) 사이의 흡인력이 증가하게 된다.
따라서 전기 선로상에 동일한 값의 과부하 전류가 인가되는 경우 종래 장치에 비해 순시 전류값이 증가하게 되고 이러한 순시 전류값의 증가는 순시 동작 범위의 선택을 자유롭게 하여 준다.
회로 차단기내에 본 발명에 따른 장치를 장착한 시료와 종래 장치를 장착한 시료를 만들어 과부하 전류의 인가시 최초 순시 동작 범위를 체크하는 실험을 하였으며, 시료는 동일한 정격(125A)의 시료로 구성하였다.
그 결과 하기표와 같은 실험결과를 얻었으며, 종래 장치에 비해 순시 전류값이 월등히 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

본 발명은 회로 차단기 내의 픽싱코어에 동일한 전류가 흘렀을 때 유도되는 자장의 발생량이 동일한 경우 종래의 장치에 비해 아마튜어에 유도되는 자속의 수의 단위면적이 넓어지고 이에 따라 트립 검출기구부에서의 순시 전류값이 증가하여 순시 동작의 선택 범위가 넓어져 낮은 과부하 전류 범위에 까지 적용할 수 있으므로 사용자의 다양한 요구에 쉽게 대응할 수 있게 된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 단락사고 전류 발생시 기자력이 유기되어 흡인력을 발생하는 픽싱코어(3)와, 상기 픽싱코어에 흡인력이 발생될 때 픽시코어측으로 흡인되면서 개폐기구부를 해지시키는 자성체인 아마튜어(4)를 구비한 회로 차단기의 트립 검출기구에 있어서,
    상기 픽싱코어에 대한 아마튜어의 흡인력이 증대되도록 자속의 수를 증가시키는 절곡된 형성의 보조 돌기부(4a)를 상기 아마튜어에 일체로 형성하여서 된 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 차단기의 트립 검출 장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 보조 돌기부가 아마튜어 회전 지점의 하단부에 형성된 회로 차단기의 트립 검출 장치.
