Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing reinforcement bracket(30) is fixed between an inner rail(12) of a side rail and the inner panel of a roof. The door opening portion of the reinforcement bracket is welded into one end of the inner rail with an outward bent welding end(31). An outer panel(1) of the roof is fixed to the inner rail using bolts(35) with an inward bent end(32). In this structure, both ends are not necessary to weld into the inner rail of the side rail and the fixing structure is well-crushed caused by the clearance of a bolting groove(33a) to absorb shock better.
