Claims (4)
- 전계방출부를 구비한 캐소기판과 이 캐소드기판에 대향하는 발광부를 구비한 애노드 기판으로 이루어진 진공의 분위기 중에서 동작하는 전계방출형 표시소자에 있어서,상기 전계방출부는 캐소드전극과 전자를 방출하는 에미터와의 사이에 형성된 저항층을 갖고 있고, 이 저항층의 저항치를 검출하기 위한 모니터 저항패턴이, 이 저항층과 같은 재료를 사용하여 동일의 프로세스에 의하여 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계방출 표시소자.
- 전계방출부를 구비한 캐소드기판과 이 캐소드기판에 대향하는 발광부를 구비한 애노드 기판으로 이루어진 진공분위기 중에서 동작하는 전계방출형 표시소자를 구동하는 구동방법으로서,상기 전계방출부는 캐소드전극과 전자를 방출하는 에미터와의 사이에 형성된 저항층을 갖고 있고, 이 저항층의 저항치를 검출하여, 검출된 저항치에 따라 구동전압을 제어함으로써, 상기 발광부의 발광휘도가 변동하지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계방출형 표시소자의 구동방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 저항층의 저항치를 저항층과 같은 재료를 사용하여 동일의 프로세스에 의하여 형성된 모니터 저항패턴에 의하여 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계방출형 표시소자의 구동방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 구동전압이 제어되더라도, 게이트전압과 캐소드전압이 일정 전위차를 유지하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계방출형 표시소자의 구동방법.
