Upon assembling a timing belt on a ring gear of a fly wheel, the pilot is inserted in a tubular pin in a state of compressing a lower face of the handle to be contacted with an upper face of the locking lever. A stop gear(40) is butted with a tooth shape of the ring gear and the handle is released. An upper end of the handle is supported by a cover(60) and the handle is moved to an upper part by the resilient force of the spring. Then the hanging sill is hung on a cylinder block(30) so that the jig(10) is installed.
