Abstract
Description
複数の電池パック接続部と、
各電池パック接続部に接続された電池パックを充電する充電回路と、
前記充電回路からの充電電流供給先となる電池パック接続部を選択する選択手段と、
前記充電回路及び前記選択手段を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、複数の電池パック接続部に電池パックが接続された場合の制御モードとして、第1モードと第2モードを択一的に実行可能であり、
前記第1モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電になる前に切り替えながら順次充電し、前記第2モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電にしてから切り替えて充電し、
前記制御部は、切替の度に、充電対象電池パックの種別又は状態を検出する。
前記第1モードでは、前記第1の電池パックの充電を開始して前記第1の電池パックが満充電になる前に前記第1の電池パックの充電を停止して前記第2の電池パックの充電を開始するよう、充電する電池パックを切り替えながら順次充電してもよい。
複数の電池パック接続部と、
各電池パック接続部に接続された電池パックを充電する充電回路と、
前記充電回路からの充電電流供給先となる電池パック接続部を選択する選択手段と、
前記充電回路及び前記選択手段を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記複数の電池パック接続部に前記電池パックが接続された場合の制御モードとして、第1モードと第2モードを択一的に実行可能であり、
前記第1モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電になる前に、前記充電対象電池パックの二次電池セル当たりの電圧に基づいて、切り替えながら順次充電し、前記第2モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電にしてから切り替えて充電し、
前記制御部は、切替の度に、充電対象電池パックの種別又は状態を検出する。
前記第1モードでは、前記第1の電池パックの充電を開始して前記第1の電池パックが満充電になる前に前記第1の電池パックの充電を停止して前記第2の電池パックの充電を開始するよう、充電する電池パックを切り替えながら順次充電してもよい。
前記制御部は、各電池パック接続部に接続された電池パックの定格電圧の異なる場合でも充電可能に構成されてもよい。
Claims (9)
- 複数の電池パック接続部と、
各電池パック接続部に接続された電池パックを充電する充電回路と、
前記充電回路からの充電電流供給先となる電池パック接続部を選択する選択手段と、
前記充電回路及び前記選択手段を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、複数の電池パック接続部に電池パックが接続された場合の制御モードとして、第1モードと第2モードを択一的に実行可能であり、
前記第1モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電になる前に切り替えながら順次充電し、前記第2モードでは、充電対象電池パックを満充電にしてから切り替えて充電し、
前記制御部は、切替の度に、充電対象電池パックの種別又は状態を検出する、充電装置。 - 前記複数の電池パック接続部は、第1の電池パックが接続される第1の電池パック接続部と第2の電池パックが接続される第2の電池パック接続部を有し、
前記第1モードでは、前記第1の電池パックの充電を開始して前記第1の電池パックが満充電になる前に前記第1の電池パックの充電を停止して前記第2の電池パックの充電を開始するよう、充電する電池パックを切り替えながら順次充電する、請求項1に記載の充電装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1モードにおいて、互いに残容量が異なる複数の電池パックを充電する場合に、充電対象電池パックの残容量が他の少なくとも1つの電池パックの残容量よりも高いときは、充電を行わずに充電対象電池パックを切り替える、請求項1又は2に記載の充電装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記第1モードにおいて、各電池パックの現在の出力電圧と満充電時の出力電圧との関係から各電池パックの残容量を導出し、複数の電池パックの残容量を揃えながら前記残容量を段階的に高める、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の充電装置。
- 前記制御部は、充電対象電池パックの異常を検出したときは、充電を行わずに充電対象電池パックを切り替える、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の充電装置。
- 前記第2モードでは、前記第1の電池パックの充電を開始して前記第1の電池パックが満充電になったら前記第2の電池パックの充電を開始するよう、充電する電池パックを切り替える、請求項2に記載の充電装置。
- 前記制御部の制御モードを第1及び第2モードの間で手動で切り替えるモード切替部を備える、請求項6に記載の充電装置。
- 制御部は、前記第1又は2モードにおいて、前記第1の電池パックが高温の場合には、前記第1の電池パックを充電せずに前記第2の電池パックの充電を開始する、請求項6又は7に記載の充電装置。
- 制御部は、前記第1の電池パックの高温状態が解消した場合には、前記第2の電池パックの充電後に前記第1の電池パックの充電を開始する、請求項8に記載の充電装置。
