Abstract

Claims (4)
- 油膜の圧力を増加させるための複数のディンプルが施されたディンプル付き被加工物であって、
前記複数の各ディンプルは、長手方向の縦長さと、前記長手方向に直交する横方向の横長さのアスペクト比が5.0以上でかつ50.0以下であるディンプル付き被加工物。 - 請求項1に記載のディンプル付き被加工物であって、
前記複数のディンプルは、相互に平行である複数の第1ディンプルと、相互に平行である複数の第2ディンプルを有し、
前記複数の第1ディンプルの長手方向と前記複数の第2ディンプルの長手方向が角度を有して交わるように前記複数の第1ディンプルと前記複数の第2ディンプルが配列されているディンプル付き被加工物。 - 請求項1または2に記載のディンプル付き被加工物であって、
前記複数の各ディンプルは、深さが10.0μm以下であり、
前記各ディンプルの長手方向の端縁部は、深さ方向に前記被加工物の表面に対して10.0°以下の傾斜角度を有するディンプル付き被加工物。 - 回転切削工具を用いて被加工物にディンプルを形成するディンプル加工方法であって、
軸心回りに回転可能に支持される工具本体と前記工具本体の外周縁に前記軸心の延びる方向と交差する方向に張り出して設けられた切れ刃部とを具備する前記回転切削工具を前記軸心回りに回転させかつ前記被加工物の加工面に沿って相対的に送ることで前記切れ刃部によって前記加工面に前記ディンプルを形成し、
前記ディンプルは、長手方向の縦長さと、前記長手方向に直交する横方向の横長さのアスペクト比が5.0以上でかつ50.0以下であるディンプル加工方法。
