Abstract
Description
本発明の螺着部材用シール剤は、自己架橋型の水性エマルジョンを含む。
本発明の螺着部材用シール剤は、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維物質を含む。ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維物質を螺着部材用シール剤に添加することで、揮発成分の乾燥工程における塗膜の偏りを防ぐことができる。ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維物質を添加しない場合に塗膜の偏りが生じる原因としては、螺着部材に塗布されたシール剤におけるエマルジョンが最初に成膜し始めた部分を核としてシール剤の成膜が続くため、全体的に樹脂が核部分に引っ張られてしまうためと考えられる。これに対し、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維物質が含まれることによって(好適には、樹脂(シール剤)中に均一に分散させることによって)、樹脂(シール剤)が一部の核部分に引っ張られることを防ぐことができるためと推測される。かかる推測によって本発明の技術的範囲が制限されるものではない。
本発明の螺着部材用シール剤は、混合物からなる造膜助剤を含み、前記混合物が、下記式1:
本発明の螺着部材用シール剤は、上記説明した各成分を攪拌混合することで製造できる。添加順番としては、特に限定されないが、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維を均一に分散させるために、分散媒としての水、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維、充填剤、消泡剤をまず撹拌し、その後に他の原料を添加することが好ましい。攪拌装置としては、PRIMIX社のホモディスパーや新東科学株式会社のスリーワンモータ等が挙げられるが、各成分を均一に分散させることが可能な装置であれば特にこれらに限定されるものではない。攪拌時間としては、均一に分散させるために、10〜180分が好ましく、30〜120分がより好ましい。また、攪拌速度としては、均一に分散させるために、150〜3000rpmが好ましく、200〜2000rpmがより好ましい。攪拌翼としては、タービン翼、傾斜パドル翼、傾斜タービン翼、プロペラ翼のようなものが好適である。これらの時間や、回転数などは、適宜設定することができる。

各成分を表1に示される組成に従って攪拌装置にて適宜攪拌混合することによって実施例および比較例の螺着部材用シール剤を調製した。より具体的には、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維を均一に分散させるため、分散媒としての水、ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンパウダーおよび界面活性剤をまず撹拌し、その後に他の原料を添加した。
[(a)成分]
・ACRONAL(登録商標) YS−800ap(スチレン−(メタ)アクリル酸エステルコポリマーを含む自己架橋型のエマルジョン、固形分47wt%、BASFジャパン株式会社製)
[(a’)成分]
・モビニール(登録商標)6969 ((メタ)アクリル酸エステルコポリマーまたは(メタ)アクリル酸エステルホモポリマーを含む自己架橋型でないエマルジョン、固形分50wt%、日本合成化学株式会社製)
[(b)成分]
・ティアラKY−400S (ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維、濃度:20%(100%のうちの80%は水分)、繊維径:200〜300nm、長さ−長さ加重平均繊維長:500〜600μm、アスペクト比:1,500〜3,000、東レ・デュポン株式会社製)
[(b’)成分]
・ケブラーK29 (ナノファイバー化されていないアラミド繊維、濃度:93%(100%のうち7%は水分)、繊維径:12μm 繊維長:3.0mm、アスペクト比:250、東レ・デュポン株式会社製)
・セルロースナノファイバーCNF−500 (セルロースナノファイバー、濃度:5%、繊維径:30〜200nm、繊維長:測定不能、アスペクト比(推定):100〜500、モリマシナリー株式会社製)。
・メチルポリグリコール(式1中のnが4以上である化合物を混合物全体の70質量%以上含む、平衡還流沸点295℃、MPG(日本乳化剤株式会社製))
[(c’)成分]
・メチルジグリコール (式1中のnが2である化合物を混合物全体の99質量%以上含む、沸点190℃、日本乳化剤株式会社製)
・メチルトリグリコール (式1中のnが3である化合物を混合物全体の99質量%以上含む、沸点249℃、日本乳化剤株式会社製)
・ブチルトリグリコール (式1中のnが3である化合物が混合物全体の50質量%未満含む、沸点271.2℃、日本乳化剤株式会社製)。
・ルブロン(登録商標)L−5F(平均粒径D50:5μmのポリテトラフルオロエチレンパウダー、ダイキン工業株式会社製)
・KT−300M(平均粒径D50:40μmのポリテトラフルオロエチレンパウダー、株式会社喜多村製)
・BYK−019(シリコーン系界面活性剤、BYK−Chemi社製)
・オルフィン(登録商標)SK−14(アセチレンアルコール系界面活性剤、日信化学工業株式会社製)
・SNシックナ−651(ポリアクリル酸未中和品、サンノプコ株式会社製)。
実施例および比較例に示す螺着部材用シール剤をコーティングすることによって螺着部材用シール剤がコーティングされてなる螺着部材を作製する方法を以下に示す。
[螺着部材用シール剤をコーティングしてなる螺着部材の作製方法]
亜鉛めっきクロメート処理を施したボルト(ボルトサイズM10(直径)×1.5(ピッチ)×20mm(長さ)の六角ボルト)を準備した。
[外観評価方法]
外観評価は目視により行った。
外観評価において、○であったサンプル(実施例、比較例)に対して、前記加工液(350mPa・sに調整したサンプル)をポリプロピレン製の300ml容器に入れて40℃で1ヶ月保存した。保存後の粘度変化およびシール性(下記の方法により試験する)を評価する、保存性の確認を行った。
サンプルを配合後、密閉容器に入れた。その後、1週間以内にプレコートボルトを作製し、シール性の確認を行った。プレコートボルトを図1で示すアルミ製シール試験ブロックのボルト挿入孔aに10本ずつ組み付けた後、気体封入孔b1をシール試験機に組み付け、もう一方の気体封入孔b2を、シール試験機から封入する気体が漏れないよう、シールテープの巻かれたテーパープラグで塞いだ。プレコートボルトのアルミ製シール試験ブロックへの組み付けは締付トルク30N・mで行った。前記アルミ製シール試験ブロックを、水を張った容器に入れ、前記シール試験機から供給される窒素ガスによる圧力の供給を行い、ガスシール性の評価を行った。シール試験ブロックに加える窒素ガスの圧力は、始めは0.5MPaとし、2分間保持して漏れの有無を確認し、圧力を2分毎に段階的に0.5MPaずつ上昇して行き、前記ボルトを締付けた箇所からの漏れが発生した時点での圧力を目視にて確認した。なお、最終的な圧力は2.0MPaとし、漏れが発生しなかった最大圧力を記録した。圧力計はシール試験器に備え付けられており、圧力計を読みながら昇圧した。なお、前記アルミ製シール試験ブロックを、水を張った容器に入れシール試験をする理由は、漏れの発生を確認しやすくするためである。本シール性試験において、1.5MPa以上のシール性を示す場合、好ましい結果であることを示唆する。

Claims (8)
- (a)自己架橋型の水性エマルジョンと、
(b)ナノファイバー化されたアラミド繊維物質と、
(c)混合物からなる造膜助剤と、
を含む、螺着部材用シール剤であって、
前記混合物が、下記式1:
で示される化合物を含み、前記混合物全体の平衡還流沸点が280℃以上である、螺着部材用シール剤。 - 前記混合物が、前記化合物を50質量%以上含む、請求項1に記載の螺着部材用シール剤。
- 前記(a)成分が、スチレン−(メタ)アクリル酸エステルコポリマーエマルジョンである、請求項1または2に記載の螺着部材用シール剤。
- 前記(b)成分のアスペクト比が、1,000〜3,000である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の螺着部材用シール剤。
- 前記(b)成分の固形分の添加量が、前記(a)成分の固形分100質量部に対して、0.1〜3.0質量部である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の螺着部材用シール剤。
- 前記(c)成分の添加量が、前記(a)成分の固形分100質量部に対して、54〜79質量部である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の螺着部材用シール剤。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の螺着部材用シール剤をコーティングすることを有する、螺着部材の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の螺着部材用シール剤がコーティングされてなる、螺着部材。
