Description
Claims (6)
- 理論空燃比近傍を目標空燃比としたストイキ燃焼モードとリーン空燃比を目標空燃比としたリーン燃焼モードとに切換可能な内燃機関と、車載のバッテリにより駆動されて、少なくともリーン燃焼モードの一部運転条件下では吸気量の一部を分担する電動式吸気供給装置と、を備えた車両用内燃機関の制御方法であって、
内燃機関のトルクおよび回転速度をパラメータとして、上記ストイキ燃焼モードとするストイキ燃焼運転領域と上記リーン燃焼モードとするリーン燃焼運転領域とを予め設定するとともに、
上記リーン燃焼運転領域にあるときに上記リーン燃焼モードの目標空燃比の維持に必要な上記電動式吸気供給装置の電力量を求め、
この電力量に対し上記バッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記リーン燃焼モードから上記ストイキ燃焼モードに切り換える、車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記リーン燃焼運転領域における各運転点に対しリーン空燃比である目標空燃比を割り付けたリーン空燃比マップと、上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域および上記リーン燃焼運転領域の双方を含む運転領域の各運転点に対し理論空燃比近傍の目標空燃比を割り付けたストイキ空燃比マップと、を備え、
上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記ストイキ空燃比マップを用いる、請求項1に記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記リーン燃焼運転領域における各運転点に対しリーン空燃比である目標空燃比を割り付けたリーン空燃比マップと、少なくとも上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域の各運転点に対し理論空燃比近傍の目標空燃比を割り付けたストイキ空燃比マップと、上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域および上記リーン燃焼運転領域の双方を含む運転領域の各運転点に対し上記電動式吸気供給装置の停止を前提として理論空燃比近傍の目標空燃比ないしリーン空燃比である目標空燃比を割り付けた第3の空燃比マップと、を備え、
上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記第3の空燃比マップを用いる、請求項1に記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 車載の他の電気機器が必要とする電力量と上記電動式吸気供給装置の駆動に必要な電力量とから、上記バッテリのSOCの下限値を予め設定し、
上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分であるか否かを、上記下限値と上記バッテリのSOCとを比較して判断する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分であると判断したときに、さらに、上記リーン燃焼モードから上記ストイキ燃焼モードに切り換えるか、あるいは、上記内燃機関により駆動される発電機の発電量を増加してリーン燃焼モードを維持するか、を予め定めた条件に基づいて選択する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。
- 理論空燃比近傍を目標空燃比としたストイキ燃焼モードとリーン空燃比を目標空燃比としたリーン燃焼モードとに切換可能な内燃機関と、車載のバッテリにより駆動されて、少なくともリーン燃焼モードの一部運転条件下では吸気量の一部を分担する電動式吸気供給装置と、コントローラと、を備えた車両用内燃機関の制御装置であって、
上記コントローラは、
内燃機関のトルクおよび回転速度をパラメータとして、上記ストイキ燃焼モードとするストイキ燃焼運転領域と上記リーン燃焼モードとするリーン燃焼運転領域とを予め設定した制御マップを備え、
上記リーン燃焼運転領域にあるときに上記リーン燃焼モードの目標空燃比の維持に必要な上記電動式吸気供給装置の電力量を求めて、この電力量に対し上記バッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記リーン燃焼モードから上記ストイキ燃焼モードに切り換える、
