Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る複合伸縮部材の平面図である。図2は、図1のII−II線断面図の一部である。
次に、前記複合伸縮部材1を製造するための製造装置について説明する。
前記のように構成された製造装置100を用いて複合伸縮部材1を製造する方法は、案内工程と接合工程とを含む。
図15は、前記のように構成された複合伸縮部材1の使用例として、この複合伸縮部材1が用いられた使い捨ておむつ(着用物品)20を示した概略図である。
Claims (16)
- 2枚のシートをその長手方向に沿って搬送しながらこれらシートどうしおよびこれらシートと複数の弾性部材とを互いに接合して、前記2枚のシートと当該2枚のシートの間に挟みこまれた複数の弾性部材とを有する複合伸縮部材を製造するための装置であって、
前記搬送されている2枚のシートの間に前記各弾性部材を挟み込んだ状態で、前記各弾性部材と前記シート、および、前記シートどうしを溶着させて接合する接合装置と、
前記接合装置に、前記各弾性部材がその長手方向に延びるとともに2枚のシートの間に挟まれるように、これら2枚のシートおよび前記各弾性部材を案内する案内装置とを備え、
前記接合装置は、所定の軸回りに回転して前記各弾性部材が挟み込まれた前記2枚のシートをこれらシートの長手方向に搬送する外周面を有する搬送ローラと、当該搬送ローラの外周面と対向して当該外周面との間で前記各弾性部材が挟み込まれた前記2枚のシートを挟圧する挟圧装置とを備え、これら搬送ローラと挟圧装置との間で前記シートに熱を加えるように構成されており、
前記搬送ローラの外周面には、前記挟圧装置に向かって突出する少なくとも1つの凸部が形成されており、
前記凸部は、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と交差する線に沿って延びる形状を有するとともに、当該搬送ローラの搬送方向と交差する線上の互いに離間した位置に前記搬送ローラの搬送方向に延びる複数の溝を有することを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記溝の前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する平面による断面形状は、前記弾性部材が自然長にある状態で当該溝に配置されたときに、当該溝に配置された弾性部材の一部が当該溝の開口端を結ぶ直線状の仮想線よりも前記搬送ローラの径方向の外側にはみ出るように設定されていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項2に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記溝の前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する平面による断面形状は、前記弾性部材が自然長の3倍伸長した状態で当該溝に配置されたときに、当該溝に配置された弾性部材の一部が当該溝の開口端を結ぶ直線状の仮想線よりも前記搬送ローラの径方向の外側にはみ出るように設定されていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記各弾性部材は、束状に集合した複数の繊維状弾性体を含み、
複数の前記繊維状弾性体の少なくとも一部の周面は、被覆層により被覆されており、
前記接合装置は、前記被覆層を溶融させて前記シートに溶着することを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記弾性部材は、束状に集合した複数の繊維状弾性体からなり、
前記各弾性部材と前記各シートとは、前記弾性部材の周面に位置する少なくとも1の前記繊維状弾性体に前記各シートが溶着することで接合されていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記案内装置は、前記搬送ローラの外周面に対向する先端と当該先端よりも搬送ローラから離れて配置された基端とを有するとともに、前記複数の弾性部材を前記搬送ローラの前記軸と平行な方向に互いに離間した状態で当該搬送ローラの外周面に案内するガイド部材を備え、
前記ガイド部材の先端には、前記搬送ローラの軸と平行な方向に互いに離間した位置に、前記各弾性部材をそれぞれ保持するための複数の切欠きが形成されていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記凸部は、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に沿って延びる複数の単位凸部を有することを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記凸部は、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と交差する第1の方向に沿って互いに平行に延びる複数の第1凸部と、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向および前記第1の方向と交差する第2の方向に沿って互いに平行に延びるとともに少なくとも1の前記第1凸部とそれぞれ交差する複数の第2凸部とを含むことを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項8に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記第1の方向と第2の方向とは、それぞれ前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に対して交差する方向であることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項9に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記第1の方向と前記第2の方向とは、それぞれ、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に対して、45度よりも小さい角度で傾斜していることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項9または10に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記各第1凸部と前記各第2凸部との交差点は、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向に延びる線上に並んでいるとともに、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に延びる直線上に並んでいることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項8〜11のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記各溝は、前記各第1凸部と各第2凸部のうちこれら凸部が交差する部分を除く部分に形成されていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項8〜12のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記第1凸部に形成された溝である第1溝と、前記第2凸部に形成された溝である第2溝とは、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に延びる直線上に並んでいることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項11に記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記各溝は、前記各第1凸部と第2凸部のうちこれら凸部が交差する部分を除く部分に形成されているとともに、前記搬送ローラの搬送方向について等間隔に設けられていることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項8〜11のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置であって、
前記搬送ローラの外周面は、前記凸部が複数の前記第1凸部と複数の前記第2凸部とで構成される交差パターン領域と、当該交差パターン領域に隣接して前記凸部が前記各第1凸部と前記各第2凸部との交差点から前記搬送ローラの搬送方向と直交する方向に延びる第3凸部で構成されるストレートパターン領域とを含むことを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造装置。 - 請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の複合伸縮部材の製造装置を用いて複合伸縮部材を製造する方法であって、
前記案内装置によって、前記接合装置に、前記各弾性部材がその長手方向に延びるとともに2枚のシートの間に挟まれるように、これら2枚のシートおよび各弾性部材を案内する案内工程と、
前記挟圧装置と前記凸部とによって前記複数の弾性部材が挟み込まれた2枚のシートを挟圧するとともにこの挟圧されている部分を加熱して、前記弾性部材と前記シート、および、前記シートどうしを溶着させて接合する接合工程とを含み、
前記接合工程では、前記搬送ローラ側のシートのうち前記弾性部材が配置されている部分の一部および前記各弾性部材の少なくとも一部をそれぞれ前記凸部の各溝に挿入した状態で、前記弾性部材と前記シート、および、前記シートどうしを接合させることを特徴とする複合伸縮部材の製造方法。
